Released in 1992 the Club 10 was marketed as an entry level kit capable of being easily switched between truck and buggy forms utilizing Schumacher provided parts. The kit was based on the Courgar 2 chassis and included a motor and mechanical speed controller.

The original Club 10, (the Mk1, if you will) was pretty much a re-released original Cougar in many areas, but with some updates for later tech (hubs, towers, shocks, diffs, etc.). Things really changed up when the Mk2 came along - plastic-bodied shocks, fixed camber and steering links, gear transmission, etc.

This just arrived from ebay which i thought was a cougar but has a different gearbox and cheap looking shocks, could this be a Club10?

Wow, thank you all for your help :D

I plan on putting some rc10 shocks on it instead of the awful plastic ones and using it to teach my daughter to drive
with it, oh and replace the plastic bearings too!?!?

Just wondering if anyone has tried one of the new B6 club racer kits. I ordered one from Amain to run at my local track.

My thoughts at first exactly. However Carpet is way different. I would say though that a lot of guys run a lay down. I’m sure it is mostly driver preference.

I'm entering two cars into the The Brett Davis Vintage GP at the end of month the Club 10 will be my 2wd entry.
When I bought the chassis and spares in the first picture below I wasn't sure which model cougar it was, it was just listed as...

Hi after going through the mission of finding out what cat I had bought, with the big help from this site, so thanks up front, I've come to the the conclusion it's the club 10, giving it a bit of clean realised that the diff is locked, after opening...

Hi, I've been away for almost 30 years and plan to race at my nearest club next month.

Question, how many lipo packs do I need? I only have one at the moment, prudence says at least one more.
Any advice from 21st century racers?

They have 5mm to 4mm adapters.

I would say 2 lipos are a good for one class.

I ordered some to give them a try, put not sure if having another connection could cause problems in the long run.
