I had them in my watch list and knew they would sell for a high penny, have you seen all the hop-ups that are in there :shock: I'm not that surprised personally, unless they don't "look" in a very good shape. I'm sure once cleaned and restored, those will at least double their price :wink:

Judging by the ID of the winner..... I think we'll see these buggies again in tip top condition..... of course, maybe the metalwork will be a bit shinier...... :wink:

Same buyer paid $850 for a YZ10 NIB from Sealedcity. I also noticed that Sealedcity hasn't sold many of his high buck kits but he did sell a Tamiya monster beetle for $1199.
Wow, must be nice to be bucks up!

Those are cool. It would be a shame to "restore" them. A good cleaning is all they need. 8)

Pleiku is Jerry's nickname he used on TC. Knowing the type of rebuilds he does, they are going to look tits. He had a big part in the building of the TC sand scorcher.
