why is this gold tub I have wider than the black tub I have?

well.... i guess when associated was designing the 10t, that's what the need to do with the noseplate to get the suspension geometery they were looking for. so they narrowed it up. mainly, an attempt to have 4 equal length a-arms.

i'd bet web steve could get a better answer though.

The one on top is a truck nose plate. The other is a buggy nose plate. Hope that help.
