Fiberglass Battery Straps found at last

I found the original fibo straps that came on my Edinger. After a month of searching, they where in the folds of the original box! Now it's complete and i can end the massive search............................

I now have available battery straps for my transverse shorty pack battery cups, printed in Nylon.
I'll make these available at Shapeways in the next day or two, but for now I have 3 available for immediate shipment. The price is $8 plus shipping....

The width is 1.86 , and the length is 3.80 .
I've run several brands of shorty packs in them and they have all fit nicely. 8)

they offer three different types at mcmaster-carr, a top tab, side tab, and flip tab, all various lengths and widths. I'm sure any of the industrial type online stores will have something similar.

I'm restoring a couple of yokomos both works 91/92/93. They are missing their battery straps (1 to cover 3 cells, the other to cover 4 cells) and also the battery posts.

Does anyone have any sources to get replacements or any know of any...

I just got these in today. :shock:
An original Puretech strap. Modern batteries are too long to fit flush on the chassis with the cross bars, and the strap is a bit short for the fatter cells.

I received my order for an original style strap (old bolt on style mounts with new logo velcro) and one of the PSA double strap units at the end of last week. Good stuff. I haven't installed the bolt on style yet, but foresee trimming of the velcro...

Fiest time the RC10 came out, it had fiberglass battery hold downs. And Two servo savers. Not one. Who can back me up onthis one. I know because I had it before.
