Wizard Conversion...Arizona "old timers" look here.

Post by johnqpublic »

Does anyone have any info on an RC10 conversion that came out of the Arizona area.....possibly from a company called Wizard Motors (or something like that)? From what I gather it had a 40 degree aluminum kick-up.

The modern-day Terminator-based cars that continue to burn up dirt ovals can trace their roots back to the Wizard (or so I hear).

Any info or pictures would be appreciated.

By the way, this would have been in the '87-'88 time frame.

i have no good info for you. but, the september '88 issue of rcca was a dirt oval special issue. supposedly, it has a dirt oval buyers guide inside. if they were a big enough company, who knows......... it could be in there. i'm sure someone around here has that issue and could take a look.

I think the Wizard was actually an off road conversion, and used the tub chassis.
