Looks like a diff gear adaptor which will allow the mounting of a ball diff counter gear on a ball diff tranny. As for the manufacturer, I don't have a clue.

the green look makes me think of A&L, all I can say, what is strange is there is no screw hole, so it must be for a power clutch or slipper system with a spring I presume... find the spur gear that fits and maybe you'll have a clue...

Maybe a wheel hub for a funky car that I apparently do not know of.

I remembered last night that Parma offered gear adaptors molded in green. I have some, I just need to remember where I put them to do a comparison to the one you posted.

I know what that is, its a spur gear adaptor, I have 2 here NIB. There is a bit of paper inside the packet that says 'LOSI ADAPTORS'. I'm guessing it's to fit Losi spur gears onto a Schumacher layshaft as they came in a box full of Schumacher parts.

I'll take a picture if you want.

cool. thanks northy. last night i went through my bags of spur gears, figuring it had to be a spur gear adapter for something. i found a couple it would work on. i'm just wondering what is used to hold the spur on to the adapter?

yup, the rocket sprocket. that's the first spur that i found that the adapter would fit in. i did take a pic of it last night, but i must have deleted it from my camera. i don't have those spacers though. just the spur adapter itself.

oh well, at least i know what it definately is now. :D
