RC10 chassis info.

Post by rctenracer »

I picked up this chassis on ebay about a week ago. Does anyone have some info on this. Its not a graphite chassis but seems to be a carbon chassis . Its not as rigid as a graphite. Its a chassis that I don't have and just purchased it on the spur of the moment.

nice score, dude. it's actually a later tq10 chassis. the holes down the side are countersunk, and the holes are in the rear for a motor guard, even though they didn't come with one. it would've had the widtrack front end with the 4 hole shock tower.

I'm not up to date on part numbers . So this chassis is just a hop up from associated.

Not quite that easy... First you have to decide which TQ10 you're going to replicate.

Aside from the chassis, the other key features to the tq10 are the sidwinder body (nicely portrayed on Asso_man's 8) and a black anodized motor plate with just the three holes to mount the 6-gear trans (no forth hole for the stealth trans). Ooooo, the different versions. Wasn't it determined by whether certain holes along the sides of the chassis were countersunk or not? .......A whole other can 'o worms. Sorry, had to do it

Very nice chassis btw!!!
