Setup needed.

Post by j.d.roost »

Anyone have a good racing setup for a gold pan?
My car will have the a&l trans, wide front end with Andys front arm holder, rear b2 cvds (2.2 wheels) and stock everything else. The rear upper link has been re-drilled already to make it longer. The pack will be front to rear (ni-mh). Could use a good spring/oil/link setup. Also any "must have" mods to make the car competive would be nice.
Were there any gold pan cars that were able to hang with the graphite rc10s an or jrx's at last years nats?
Thanks.

The best set ups were when we ran #2 pistons drilled one whole with #55 to make it a 1/2 piston.
All the way around with 27 or 30 all around.
Green Rear springs.
Black front springs.
4 .032 limiters in the back.
1-2 .032 limiter in the front.
25deg caster blocks.
Inline axles.
Middle holes in the shock towers and outside on the arms.

PM me if you need any other information.
I hope this was helpful.
