What is the size of the Diff nut on a 6gear tranny

What is the size of the Diff adjust nut on the 6 gear tranny. its not 5-40 i just bought some and they're too small...Is it SAE or metric? Anyone know? :?

it should be a 5-40.

AHHH crap MY BAD...it is 5-40 I was scared to put the nut on the shaft fearing i'd strip the treads on the diff shaft...but i just tried it on an old wrecked one and you're right it works...Thanks for the help scr8p !!! :lol:
