Re: BBX
Yeah the delivery date definitely changed....no rush here either. Been going through some of my B4's and T4's and refurbishing them. That'll keep me busy for awhile.

Re: B4 Shock Options
I have a old B4, original short chassis car that is missing the shocks. Trying to figure out a good option for shocks to put on it, the 4.2 FT style shocks seems to be almost non existent (and I don't want spend a small fortune). I know we have some newer options and perhaps aftermarket just to get...

Re: Dogbone and CVD measurements
This will be the initial group getting measured. Most are used, but still straight. Measurements 1 through 9 refer to the graphic in the first post. . CVDs and bones group 1.jpg . CVDs and bones-1.jpg That's a lot of great info, thanks for doing this. Been driving myself nuts trying to find some CV...

Re: Finally dug the 10T out of the closet
I was able to remove some old velcro and some clear tape from inside the chassis, I'm guessing the clear tape was to protect the chassis somehow. Took me a while to clean all the sticky gunk out with some acetone, but it came out nice and revealed a nice chassis. http://i1067.photobucket.com/albums/...

Re: RC10T Runner
Then I won't have CVD's any more, just the worn out universals that also came with it.
So what are they off of ? I assume the PO did that to be able to run the MIP CVD's on this truck?

Yeah $399 is pricey, but I've seen them go for that and close to it on Ebay.

Re: Finally dug the 10T out of the closet
OK, I haven't touched this truck in awhile, so it's time to start getting something done on it...... 8) I started cleaning up the rusty turnbuckles with some elbow grease and gun oil. They cleaned up pretty good for now. I was missing the rear body posts, so I decided to install my vintage RPM adjus...

Re: RC10T Runner
I just started to clean them for now with some elbow grease and gun oil. Going to look for replacements as well. Ran into a weird situation, this truck has MIP CVD's on it, so the rear carriers have been changed, I guess to mate up with the CVD's. Now they have a smaller axle, not sure what these ca...

Re: Backyard fun- Tamiya choices
Best thing is if you end up going with some re-re Tamiya's to run, they have a ESC included. So you can run some retro cars on a budget. The re-re Frog / Brat also has updated dog bone type rear shafts so it is more durable. The first car I started racing with was a Tamiya Hornet in the Novice class...

Re: re re worlds car
The damage in the 1st pic, was due to the ball diff being loose and slipping, it makes heat and will melt the diff gear.
Nice collection!
