Re: "Just a Slash" No Prep Drag Car
RC drag racing seems to grind to a halt up here in the northwest in winter, but some of us are still out here grinding it out on the cold asphalt. I made this pass yesterday on 40 degree asphalt.

Re: Hobbywing EZRun or Quicrun ?
Hobbywing's customer service is not what it used to be and their warranties have diminished to nothing. I have been a fan of Hobbywing for a while, but lately have been much less impressed. I still run them in all my race cars, but if you don't need the options, like boost/turbo timing, active abs, ...

Re: '78 Chevy Malibu Drag Car Body
Sold this one to a buddy, but I was tempted to swap out the 69 nova body on my DR10 for this one.

Re: '78 Chevy Malibu Drag Car Body
Thanks Jeff. I've been inspired lately by a couple of my favorite rc painting artists and I've been trying to fine tune a few techniques. I was really happy with this one.

Re: Baja Frog
Body is by Bolink. It was a lexan replacement for the sand scorcher. Sabula Tech still produces them from the original Bolink molds. One of my all time favorite bodies. Never thought about using it on a frog chassis. Looks like a great fit. Should be a fun project.

Re: B5M/SC5M No Prep Street Outlaw Drag Car
They are classified as 1/10 since they are based off of 1/10 shortcourse truck chassis, but the bodies that are made for them for no prep drag racing are closer to 1/8 scale. The class we race these in specify short course truck wheelbase. Widths vary between short course width to buggy width depend...

Re: What's the deal with the Traxxas Eagle?
It's not in bad shape. The front of the chassis is a little rough, but fixable. A few of the original white parts have been replaced with black ones over time and the rear arms are mismatched. Both are white and the same dimensions, but the one on the right side appears to be a later design. I had a...

Re: What's the deal with the Traxxas Eagle?
Thanks Jeff. I really don't need the manual. I just wanted to see it to confirm if the oddball parts were original. It just surprised me that it wasn't anywhere to be found online. This one came with the body. Looks like the Hawk body. I also thought it was kinda cool that they haven't changed the b...

What's the deal with the Traxxas Eagle?
Picked this up from a buddy a couple days ago. Cleaned it up a little to assess if it was something I wanted to restore or pass on to someone else. I have to say, this truck seems weird to me. It's a cool truck, but seems to have some oddities. First of all, I can't seem to find a manual for it and ...

Anybody know what this body is for? Nitro buggy, Exhaust relief on right side. Searched all over google images but can't find a match.
