Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Did some anodizing... Turned out pretty nice. The rounded part on the top of the "radiator" of the Litesink was to clear a body I once had on the car. Polished rc10 parts.3.JPG Polished rc10 parts.6.JPG Old motor mount - new ( refurbed Litesink) motor mount Polished rc10 parts.5 (2).JPG Po...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Over the last few days I've been resurrecting a few old and worn parts. Filing, sanding and polishing, polishing, polishing... More hours than I care to admit. My Litesink is the same one I used when I raced my Houge RC10 in the 80's-90's. Never really been happy with the way the Litesink turned out...

Re: Optima Mid Turbo LWB Custom special Conversion
First off nice build. And I do really like the Custom special's look, the upgrade graphite chassis is really nice and no platinum shocks. You may be too far along or are satisfied with your repair but... When I built my front diff on my TOMSE I did use a new front housing. I could not find a bearing...

About 50 miles due west a large uncontained wildfire with the sunset backlighting the smoke.
High winds from the west were blowing ash as far as the house.

Would the bellcrank still clear the servo if the servo moved forward 1/4" or so?

Tamiya connector tool
Recently I replaced a few antennas for old Futaba radios. Never throwing out old parts, I stashed the broken antennas. I also saved several Tamiya connectors with mostly cut wires and the terminal still locked in the connector. I can get the terminals out but it always a PITA. Never bought a tool sp...

Another mini
Losi mini SCT with CF chassis.
Can find very little on this conversion.
Steering servo needed micro adjustments, servo arm kept popping out of steering rack when I got it.

Re: Turbo Optima mid SE
Possibly another option could be... If all you want is a shiny new anodized 6061 chassis and not concerned with getting a correct TOMSE Duralumin hard anodized chassis, for about $20 shipped, https://www.ebay.com/itm/144638020296?chn=ps&mkevt=1&mkcid=28&google_free_listing_action=view_it...

Re: Turbo Optima mid SE
Sorry to hijack the thread... most recent one on the same topic I could find ... I'm wondering if anyone has any advice for polishing the OEM chassis. I'm about to start a restoration & want to use as many of my original parts as possible to control costs, but every time I've tried to do someth...

Repainted RC12L
Older RC12L body from a purchase a while ago. Not really sure the manufacturer of the body.
Repainted with somewhat vintage theme.
The AE decals were original to the body, might need a few more though.
