They seem to be going after the M4 Suburbs. I think the Scrubs were discontinued. They said the Ions would be good on a well swept/ watered track, so I'm assuming Wolcott gets a little dusty. Talked to Erich yesterday, Brian K. has confirmed his attendance at this years VONATS! I look forward to mee...

Re: What rerelease?

Wow, no love for Tamiya on the track.... Tires make the biggest difference if you plan on putting ANY off road vehicle on a track. And this goes for Tamiya as well. If you can find a way to get modern rubber on any of the re-re's they will be much easier to drive fast. The main thing with Tamiya is ...

Yes it is. The resorts will stack you with similar racers Pumpkin- there is a Quality Inn right across the street that has an awesome Italian restaurant called Ninos. I believe Brandon Giles has stayed there. Maybe he could give a review. Restaurant is great, motel, not great. At least it's cheap. ...

Re: Tamiya Thunder-Shot... I think I got this for free?

Just looking at the bottom spring keepers on the shocks, I'd say they were Kyosho. Of course somebody could have swapped them out.

All this bitching is another example of how much this place has changed over the last two years  Great job on the truck and have fun with it. +1 on that... Even though it was a new chassis, do with it what you want. You might give another member ideas on what to do with his USED GT. Justinspe...

Re: ClodZilla

Pick up an EVX2 ESC and 550 motors from a Traxxas EMaxx cheap on ebay. Run a 4S battery pack. Plenty of power and speed. Thats what I ran last year in my Clod at the Vonats. I had reservations about the setup at first, but once it hit the ground, I was very happy with it. The 550 brushed motors hold...
