I am turning my mf-01x into a porsche 959. i have a masking set that will allow me to use the tamiya ps-4 blue , ps-1 white, ps-5 black AND to do the striping. For the striping would the ps-2 red and ps-52 champagne gold aluminum be the correct colors? Also, what would be the best order of painting....

Tamiya re-releases 2022
Are there any new re-releases that caught anyone's eye? I'm still of the mindset that Kyosho's optima mid re-release is the most intriguing!

F1 cars
I have a trf102 and enjoy it. Was thinking about getting an older Collectable f1 car. Any thoughts on f201 vs. road wizard other than the 2wd vs 4wd difference? Or is there another f1 to considered. Might use it for light use but mostly a shelf queen

Re: motor upgrade for tamiya hornet
As for the esc, I try to keep the hornet with vintage electronics, so a novak t-4 , novak 410 or tekin 310.
As for the brushed motor, thanks for the recommendation for the number of turns. Which pinion gear would you go to with that?
And thanks TokyoProf and juicedcoupe for replying back

Re: JRXT steering servo recommendation
I was just planning for some basic use in the backyard or on flat dirt surface with little to no jumping. Just didn't know if there is a recommended speed of the servo and/or minimum torque that the servo should have to really make the most out of the JRXT. Thanks for the recommendation as it provid...

Was wondering if anyone had a steering servo recommendation? I was thinking either a savox 1256 or 1258. Or is there another one to consider?

Re: losi XX-4 noise
xx4 question.png I have tried tightening and loosening the nuts that the yellow and blue arrow are pointing towards. Sometimes I just tighten or loosen the yellow arrow nut and sometimes I did the blue arrow nut. No matter what combination I do, these is "spinning" at the mesh point for p...

losi XX-4 noise
Finally replaced the belts on the XX-4 that I just got. But when XX-4 is stopping, a noise from the front of the car sounds like a "zip tie being pulled" just before the front wheels stop. The front wheels always stop after the rear wheels. I don't believe that this can possibly be right. ...

Re: Which losi revolution motor for a XX-4
Im not looking to do serious racing. I was thinking of some type of losi revolution like a “Brutus” or “insane” type motor. I didn’t know which revolution motor was best for 4wd back in the day
