novak electronics

Post by Wizemanne »

was looking to get a "vintage" esc for some of my losi cars (jrxt, jrx2, xx4). I have the "brutus", "killer" and "mtm" motors. do you go T-4 or 410?

I would say that either would look correct on the first two.

The XX4 being newer, I'd probably put a newer esc in it.

Here’s a timeline that should help you narrow things down by when they were released and discontinued. Should you go that route.

Super Rooster, Rooster, and a Rooster that looks like a Super Rooster. Does anyone else have a Rooster like this that looks a little like a Super?

I'd bet that the one that looks like a SR is the second generation version, with reverse lockout.

With a quick Google search, several images of that type came up.

The transparent wires give it away as a newer ESC.
