Re: RC10DS - Mustang to ... PORSCHE?
What wheels did you use? The Porsche Fuchs wheels wheels are RC4WD Lotus 1.9" Aluminum Wheels. They are aluminum, pricey and still available :D SO you can use RC4WD 1.9" wheels with tamiya tires? I was loking at some that looked like Magnum 500's but they said 1.9" and I thought they...

Re: RC10DS - Mustang to ... PORSCHE?
Update: I toyed around with the idea of using the Vaterra mustang body but had a change of heart a while ago. I decided to mount these cool aluminum porsche wheels on my shiny DS instead. They were pricey but looked awesome so i had to mount them on this DS. They use the Tamiya tires. I got a set o...

Here are the "not promised" :D pictures of the B4.2 slipper and B4 cover on my "new" RC10. http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8096/8597332121_fde0935b2d_c.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8505/8598433830_b3ca16ed70_c.jpg Heya what gear cover part# is that!? I'm digging, I think I ne...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Super Excited to start cleaning and restoring! Looky what I have on the way! Not that I need another project, let alone three more, but I had wanted an RC10 to add to my collection and this sale popped up a day or two ago so I jumped on it. So for $175 shipped we scored RC10 A or B IDK with what loo...

Re: v2 vs 12mm shocks
so ive been running a set of V2 shocks on my rc10gt brushless conversion with much success, i want to resurrect my T2 now that i can get rear arm mounts a lot cheaper than original I am looking to upgrade my recently converted brushless GT. But I am thrown off by what size v2 shocks I should actual...

Yeah realized I needed to add small spacers on each side to prevent side to side movement.RC10th wrote: ↑Sun Nov 21, 2021 12:58 am You shouldn't need to shave anything to fit a VTS slipper in a GT

Re: RC10GT Brushless Conversion Performance Review
So far it's been very durable and very fast and when I consider that I only have a couple hundred bucks in the whole thing, I would do it again in a heartbeat. What gearing are you using? Original 32 Spur right? What pinion? I have a 48p 84 tooth and a 31 spur with a 17.5 in mine and doesn't launch...

Re: Building a brushless RC10GT
Welp I'm on to another project. One many have done before me. For any wanting to add a VTS to their vintage setup or build an RC10GTE RC10EGT brushless conversion I have that one down now. Picked this up on the FleaBay for the buck 09 without a motor (One of yous prolly sold it to me) Added thingz: ...

Re: RC10 buggy with long RPM arms
The newer (T2 style) arms have the raised shock mounts. You can still adjust the ride height with limiters and spring adjustments. I actually have an original arm on it's way. Thing I notice I got the RPM Rustler Long arms but as you stated the Associated arms have a tab that runs up. Without the t...

Re: RC10 buggy with long RPM arms
The nitro arms would be shorter or the same, definitely not longer. You might try the 70662 extended arms. They add 1.25” to the width of an electric rustler and since those are the arms you are currently trying they would be easy to estimate the width. Just add 1.25” to your existing width to see ...

Re: RC10 buggy with long RPM arms
Hello, I don't think RPM #80492's are long enough for RC10T/GT use...? -Niki- Currently been testing RPM Part 80242 (If you check the photos the wheelbase on this part is shorter than the original). I may be mistaken but I believe Part 80242 (The one I'm testing now) is shorter than #80492 and I've...

RC10T or RC10GTE with RPM Rustler Front A Arms?
So in my hunt to find arms to build my RC10GTE Basher (Sos I don't have to destroy my vintage arms when smashing into city things) I happened across the post using RPM front arms with and RC10T bulkhead and arm mount. Picked these up today to test them. Realized I'll need to shave the inside inside ...

Re: RC10 buggy with long RPM arms
This has been extremely helpful as I have been digging and digging for an RPM front arm replacement for my RC10GT project.
Considering the front end of this is nearly entirely RC10T / GT
I should be able to just throw the RPM Nitro Rustler arms on my GTE Basher build with relative ease correct?
what model/length CVD bones are those?
Those are actually vintage MIP CVDS. I remembered having them in the 90's and they were about $20 more than their original price on Ebay in mint condition but since I was already familiar with them I just bit the bullet.
