Wow, I need to get a body and paint it box art for my Graphite. I never bothered putting a body on it, the chassis just looks amazing, but this is the go. It's a Viper body, right? Mmmmm, vintage graphite...Man, I need to lose the rear Losi tires, does anyone have a pair of Associated tires for sale...

I had some spare time, so I thought I'd pull a few of my restored Losi buggies out for a few photos. I need to finish my XX CR and my XXX BK2 needs paint, but I'll get to them, soon. Dang, all I have is a graphite chassis with 'S; stamped on it and a regular chassis with 'L' on it.

Those white parts will come up great with hydrogen peroxide.
I use Duplicolor satin black on AE chassis, it looks so close to anodizing.
I wanted a 10T so bad, when I was a kid!
Just as well I finally have one.

I managed to find a NIP XX CR body and didn't have one, so I went about putting a nice XX CR together. The first time I used a graphite 'S' or short chassis and the body was way off from fitting. I have a 'L' or long stamped chassis, so I rebuilt it with that, last night. I thought for sure the body...

This wasn't supposed to happen! I have collected and restored every Losi buggy, cars and trucks from the JRX2, onward. The cut off point was the XXX series...or was supposed to be! I somehow wound up justifying sourcing and restoring both XXX Kinwald cars. I already have the XX CR KE, might as well ...

I might have a few sheets, but I paid a lot of money for them.
Why can't people today replicate the fluro colours, properly?
All the replicas look like a$s

The XXX4s were good on smooth tracks, but even a box stock XX4 will nail it on looser, bumpier tracks.
The XXX-4 diffs are too high and there isn't a way to adjust them.
Seem to work well on the XXXS, but they're only run on smooth surfaces, so they're fine.

I'm possibly the world's biggest decal whore. I have two drawers full of mainly Losi sheets. I was the guy who paid $160 for a XX4 sheet off eBay...and then bought the second set the guy had for $60.
