Re: Blue for for Graphite box art car?
Wow, I need to get a body and paint it box art for my Graphite. I never bothered putting a body on it, the chassis just looks amazing, but this is the go. It's a Viper body, right? Mmmmm, vintage graphite...Man, I need to lose the rear Losi tires, does anyone have a pair of Associated tires for sale...

A Few Of My Losi Buggies
I had some spare time, so I thought I'd pull a few of my restored Losi buggies out for a few photos. I need to finish my XX CR and my XXX BK2 needs paint, but I'll get to them, soon. Might shoot my Losi trucks, next. L - R: JRX2, JRX Pro, JRX Pro SE, Junior 2, XX, XX Kinwald, XX4, XX4 Worlds Edition...

Re: My first crack at a restoration: RC10T
Those white parts will come up great with hydrogen peroxide.
I use Duplicolor satin black on AE chassis, it looks so close to anodizing.
I wanted a 10T so bad, when I was a kid!
Just as well I finally have one.

Re: My RC10T Restoration
Truck looks great! I just finished up restoring a few of them myself. You can get reproduction decals from MCI Racing. Thanks Mark! I'm looking for the decal that goes on top of the cowl hood, MCI don't have them, last I checked. I do 99% of my restos box art, so it's bugging me a bit. :? A very ni...

XX CR Chassis Length
I managed to find a NIP XX CR body and didn't have one, so I went about putting a nice XX CR together. The first time I used a graphite 'S' or short chassis and the body was way off from fitting. I have a 'L' or long stamped chassis, so I rebuilt it with that, last night. I thought for sure the body...

Re: My XXX BK Resto
Here's a teaser shot of the BK2 and a shot of my XX CE KE, too, for the hell of it. Love the blue carbon fibre motor plates. My XX KE has a load of Trinity alloy bits, my favourites are the front bulkhead and the experimental blue alloy outdrives. DSCF7234.jpg PA010097.JPG IMG_4091.JPG IMG_4207.JPG

My XXX BK Resto
This wasn't supposed to happen! I have collected and restored every Losi buggy, cars and trucks from the JRX2, onward. The cut off point was the XXX series...or was supposed to be! I somehow wound up justifying sourcing and restoring both XXX Kinwald cars. I already have the XX CR KE, might as well ...

Re: Losi XX4 decals
I might have a few sheets, but I paid a lot of money for them.
Why can't people today replicate the fluro colours, properly?
All the replicas look like a$s

Re: OPEN losi xx4 discussion
The XXX4s were good on smooth tracks, but even a box stock XX4 will nail it on looser, bumpier tracks.
The XXX-4 diffs are too high and there isn't a way to adjust them.
Seem to work well on the XXXS, but they're only run on smooth surfaces, so they're fine.

Re: Some stickers I just dug up.
I'm possibly the world's biggest decal whore. I have two drawers full of mainly Losi sheets. I was the guy who paid $160 for a XX4 sheet off eBay...and then bought the second set the guy had for $60. Don't regret it at all. Look at my XX4 and tell me it wasn't worth it! Why can't people print fluro ...

My RC10T Restoration
I picked up two RC10T Team Trucks last year and used all of the best parts from them. Did the hydrogen peroxide treatment on the white plastics. One truck came with a new, unpainted body :P This is the first body I've airbrushed. No mods, just period correct electronics. I really want to drive it, I...

Ten SCT Nitro
Hey everyone, hope all is well. I picked up a TLR Ten SCT a while ago and started modding it, immediately. It's the best nitro car I've owned...must be 'vintage' by now, right? The mods... Re: XX4 project I've been working on...
No, the JRXS Type R was the last car designed by Gil Jr.
He was damn proud of that car, with good reason.
Matt Francis tried turning one into an off road car, using XXX4 suspension, with little success..
