Re: neighbour killed my boomerang ! The resurrection

Nice of you to ask ! I must confess, I have neglected this project. Certainly with very, very, very good cause. In the meantime two wonderful children were born and claime a lot of my time :D Compared to the last pics, the Boomerang is a little advanced and I carry to finish this project as soon as ...

I agree . Give him a nice body and treat him a quiet, harmless life on your shelf.

Re: I think, I've bought something great!

Which are the original rims? I guess the pink?
And then a possibly stupid question. Where do I get saddle pack batteries? I have a look around on eBay. Nothing! My God, I'm old!

Re: I think, I've bought something great!

Aaahh! I knew that it gets complicated. It is always so when you ask a question in this forum. However, this is the reason why I like it so much .
The note about Team blue groove is good. I recently ordered a body there for an Ultima. I was very happy with it.

I think, I've bought something great!

Hi there, I think, that I've bought something great. Probably it is a Works91. The car is still on its way to me. I thought I'd ask the yokomo specialists, whether it is really a Works91. I could possibly use the weekend to search after the correct body. I am very curious, if I found a worthy member...

Re: desperate about my CAT 1 !! Finally happy !!

I know what you mean  But when I had the body shell, there was no excuse. When I finally dared to cut the body and decided on the final color ( has taken months :D ) , I had to deal with the wing. I think there is nothing worse than finish a wing. For some reason, it seems to me harder each tim...

Re: desperate about my CAT 1 !! Finally happy !!

Wow! Very beautiful CAT family ! And you're right, although I missed not much ,the completion was a pain. At least in Germany, this buggy is incredibly rare. I have found not a single part in over three years in the bay. But now all is well and I think I will not try another CAT restore . One of my ...

Re: desperate about my CAT 1 !! Finally happy !!

Well seen! :) The wing was in fact an Associated " large " , but it was much too wide. Somewhere in this article, a member wrote the dimensions of the original SWB wing. So I have cut apart the Associated wing and take out about 2cm. Then I painted the three parts and glued the wing to one...

 Please do me a favor, buy your friend a very large beer and make sure that it is a really good one. Incidentally, congratulations to this beautiful collection. The cat is now living in a very decent society. :)

Re: desperate about my CAT 1 !! Finally happy !!

With great patience. After lots of good advice. Now it's done! Today I can finally present my personal star of my little collection. Many thanks to Mr.Lexan and especially to Ian who sold me the rear shock tower. The rear wing is self made and after the painting the SWB in British racing green , I a...
