Re: Possible Kinwald Edition RC10 inbound?
What got me is them saying the chassis was cut down and edges polished along with the cut down motor plate, to the one hole, custom shock towers the way B.K had his. It's a one off mirageSS body.....the whole car looks sick and I don't have a stealth car, so ..I said oh yah, it's mine. Only thing th...

Re: Possible Kinwald Edition RC10 inbound?
I just pre-ordered this car lol, OMG, wow. I have an original, never run edinger and a 40th. I held out on getting everything else including the 4wd, so....being this new car is pretty much the top of the line for the alumni m tub chassis and rc10 in general, I believe this will be cool beside my 40...

Re: The ultimate Mini JRX2 thread
If you got one screw out, just try rotating the motor counter clockwise, you should be able to get the screw to loosen a tad bit I'll give that a try, thanks. I ended up taking the entire car apart. I decided to rebuild it from scratch, adding things I believe would be real nice on it, including br...

Re: The ultimate Mini JRX2 thread
Was trying to put in a 370 motor in mine and, well.... Didn't go good or at all. I ended up breaking the rear suspension off trying to get the wheel off. It's on real tite, it's stupid. Also couldn't get one of the motor screws out, because the head of it will not accept my Allen wrench, the other ...

Re: Edinger RC10 worth 600, never run?
I made the three hour trip today and picked up this rc10 from the guy, real nice guy, knew it's history, everything. I'm kinda speechless right now lol, I'll have to make a separate post about all of this, I'm just in shock right now that I own an original rc10 after all these years of them slipping...

Re: Edinger RC10 worth 600, never run?
This one looks like it checks all the boxes for a nice unused RC10. That's what I hoped for and made this sudden post. I had to decide within hours. I appreciate it a lot. I didn't want to spend that chunk of money, but it seems to be well worth getting the car that always made me drool at the trac...

Re: Edinger RC10 worth 600, never run?
Yes the white rectangle parts are the battery cups. Looks like you’ve found a wonderful example. It’s ready for some hardcore shelf duty. Is that your intention ?? Shelf duty yes...I don't see any sense in running this when I can get a used one to fix up for casual beach runs. The only thing with t...

Re: Edinger RC10 worth 600, never run?
It's a nice find, and a complete looking car. :D We still aren't going to value it. edit: there is a facebook group that is a kinda spin-off of this forum, and even has the same name. This same question is asked and answered over there constantly. To me 600 for a complete old RC10 that re...

Re: Edinger RC10 worth 600, never run?
Looks pretty nice. Do the tires have blank sidewalls (no branding?). And the motor label should have Edinger address. He sent me some pics of that. The motor does say 1928 endiger road or something, hard to see in pic. The tires don't appear to have any branding label and the fronts are 4 ribs. I d...

Re: Edinger RC10 worth 600, never run?
Both battery cups and hold-downs, don’t see them in any of the pics. Here is more pictures. Many things are in packages and all the parts seem to be there. Perhaps the white things there that look square are the battery cups? I know I see the steering servo mounts. The driver figure and wing have n...

Edinger RC10 worth 600, never run?
I have a chance to buy what the owner claims is a never run, Edinger RC10 with box and everything with it, motor and electronics still in bags. Only the body had been painted. His pictures support this claim, but wondering if worth the 600 dollar asking price. It's A stamped and a dark color gold so...
