I got that in a lot with a pan car I bought along with a JRX Pro chassis. Been trying to figure out what all I got as my knowledge of it just isn't there.

Re: The Kinwald Edition RC10 (it is here!)
send me a PM with all the parts laid out or post in the losi forum and I can help identify most of it. Does look like you got a set of RPM JRX Arms (not sure if the rears on the truck ones or not from this angle), and 2 LRM transmission cases one with sought after MIP drive cups and dogbones.
Consistency is the key I keep misplacing.

Re: The Kinwald Edition RC10 (it is here!)
I got a message from AMain about my kinwalds preorder. It says the shipment had an unexpected delay and we not be shipped. It gave me an option to remain on back order or cancel the order. WTF?
I pre ordered this three hours after the first pre orders and now they have it up again for pre order.
I don't get it?

they do that every month, I always have several backorders with them, just click the button to keep the backorder and you stay in line. Its normal.

Re: The Kinwald Edition RC10 (it is here!)
As Jeff said, asking you to confirm your order is a normal Amain procedure. They always do that. It is annoying because if you miss the notice, your order defaults to "cancel". Another thing worth mentioning is that they fill backorders based on your "level" or "status". If you order very early but have a low status, you are not at the front of the line. The guy with "platinum" status who placed his order 2 months after you did is ahead of you.RCEric wrote: ↑Thu May 22, 2025 7:50 pm I got a message from AMain about my kinwalds preorder. Hopefully Brian's widow gets some royalties since this kit is so overpriced.

Got notification that my kit has shipped so people should start seeing them roll in. We'll see how the kit is soon.

Looks like Jason beat me to it. I will still go over some other things that may have been missed as I get around to the car.
RC Vintage did a video on it as well and it appears to be pretty good quality. He's looking at the car in a strictly race car though, he deosen't seem to care much about it being a replica. IT does appear to still have CVDs that aren't really the proper length though.

Re: The Kinwald Edition RC10 (it is here!)
Uh oh, what I miss?
I know the MIP CVD's is one, but it at least has the CVA's. I also didn't discuss trimming the wheels.
I realized I missed the CVD's after I was after I had completed editing the video. I didn't want to dig the stuff back out and film it, then redo the video
.
The new batch of CVD's are nice though because the cup has the shape of the early ones, which were on Brian's car. I also mentioned to Eustace on a recent livestream that he should consider offering the RC10 and 10t kits with 3/16 axles. He already made them for the DS, just needs to package them up.

Well, I thought your video was excellent and definitely plan to refer to it for my BK build!
I'm amazed with all the tiny details; were there any parts that Brian didn't modify??
Anyway, by chance do you have a template or maybe some advice for making the BK rear bulkhead?
Thank you sir.

Re: The Kinwald Edition RC10 (it is here!)
No template. I drilled the new hole, then cut off the larger portions that needed to go with a dremel and cut-off wheel. Then used a sanding drum on the dremel to do the rest.
