Built up my DS ReRe not long after it was released. Drove it a bit but honestly couldn’t cope with the standard body. Finally swapped it out for an HPI Touring car body of an e39 BMW M5.

Now i am in love. The body is a pretty decent fit and the DS wheels and tires look really on point.

And the restoration is complete. Had a horrible paint experience with my paints going bad but I consider it good enough.

I couldn’t find new old stock rear wheels so I printed up a matching set.

Lunsford Ti hinge pins installed with brass shims on all the hinges. KNK stainless screw set installed. NOS motor plate and Factory Works motor centering kit installed. This arrived yesterday and is getting disassembled and cleaned to be rebuilt.
