Finally finished up the green machine. Ordered custom decals for the stripes. Used the original decals for the lettering, which were the same as the clear kit. Turned out pretty good I'd say. I wonder if some of the elevated cost versus the other re-releases is due to royalty fees for some of the brand names on the decals? That Oakley sticker could not have come cheap.
I can't be alone in thinking the "blue drips" from the original would be part of the decals?

Finished the frame build. Will work on the body later. Not the most fun build, instructions are 80% good, 20% confusing. LOTS of screws! Looks like they've already made some updates to the online version of the manual. It does look cool all put together, not something I would've ever thought to see ...

Apex2 Hoonitruck Builder's Kit #30136 is very similar to the new 6x6 kit, is $70 cheaper, and has full bearings.

Weird, when I looked at Amain earlier this afternoon, it said it was sold out and the "Add To Cart" button was grayed out. That's probably when they were updating the listing to remove the coupon!

Video kinda makes it seem like this is their salute to the onroad cars like the 10L & 12L. Maybe those will not be re-re'd?
