Re: What do you consider to be 'vintage' ???
I would consider anything from 1981 to 1994 to be classic, and anything 1980 on down to be vintage.

A few more. http://i569.photobucket.com/albums/ss134/dir_wolf/RC/Picture013Small.jpg Spare servo blocks. These are not the ones from the kit. The server screws are also old. The screws and servo are temporary. Had to use a flash. http://i569.photobucket.com/albums/ss134/dir_wolf/RC/Picture016...

The seal has been broken on this kit for at least 8 years since I got it, so that might make it a bit easier.slotcarrod wrote:I'm on the fence.

Re: RC12 Identification
Hey Guys, I can confirm that this is a 1/12 Bolink Renegade circa 1983-84. This is the model before the Bandito. Here's a pic of another more complete one. Marc Thank you!! I have had this car for years, and now finally know what it is. Now I can remove the "Unknown" tag from it...

Re: What not to do when bored. RC10
That buggy looks fantastic but I question your sanity. Did you start off with a new in the box kit? Kinda like taking $300 and throwing it in the trash because that's how much you just devalued your buggy. This is a NIB kit, yes. A few years ago, I purchased 2 6012 kits and an RC12LW kit. The 12LW ...

Re: What not to do when bored. RC10
I am going to build it, just not sure what to do with it after that. Right now I am working on it, trying not to scratch anything, or trim anything too much.
I was thinking about measuring a few of the nylon items and making aluminum parts for my runner.

So, on layoff with nothing better to do, I... opened the box.
Sorry about the size of the pictures.

Half complete, and resting back in the box.

Re: RC12 Identification
Might be a Composite Craft chassis and radio tray or some other make but those parts don't look like AE but the rest is RC12i. Temple will have to give an opinion on this one. That was my assumption, that the fiberglass (garolite?) parts were aftermarket. Much deeper green, and the configuration is...

Re: RC12 Identification
Thanks. It confused me a little because the chassis doesn't look much like my other 12i. At least I know what it is.

RC12 Identification
I was wondering if anyone knew what this car is. The tires and differential/axle are from my 12LW just to get it on wheels.
For the life of me, I haven't been able to find any information about this car.
