Re: A VERY SPECIAL MRC BAJA KING BY A&L
How similar is it to the Thunderking? Is it just body mounts and tires or is there more? Really want to build one but you only see the Thunderking's for sale. The thunder king and Baja king were the same. Only difference was the body and tires. Wheels and entire chassis, suspension, etc are all the...

Re: 3rd owner rc10gt
I haven’t touched it yet. I’ve been working 70hrs per week.
I’m hoping to tear it apart soon to inspect everything.
I know for sure I need a spur gear, flywheel, clutch system, and clutch bell. Motor mount and possibly a new chassis.

DF-02 parts interchange?
I’m trying to repair/upgrade my daughter’s rising storm DF-02. I’ve seen that the TT-02B uprights are the same as the Df-02B. Does anyone know what else interchanges?

Re: Racing raider
I’m not sure on the thickness of the plate. I have another laying around that I will try to find this week and let you know. I’m running the stock diff with a stock 27 motor and it holds up just fine. I also have metal dog ones as well.
Thanks for the kind words, I didn’t build it but I do love it.

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
These shocks came on my rc10gt I just got and I thought they were basic duratrax gold shocks. I just noticed they have a bleeder in the cap. Can anyone identify these? Me says home-drilled... I wondered that myself, but the holes are threaded. I guess someone could have drilled and tapped them, but...

Re: Converting old Nikko and Radio Shack R/C cars to hobby grade?
Thanks guys. I’m definitely not looking for more speed as the suspension would never be able to cope with the extra power anyway, but i thought it would be fun to have the running again and let my son run them.

Re: Kyosho America customer support
Wow, thats definitely better than most as far as customer service. It seems like in general, Kyosho might appeal to the more advanced RC-er, and have a few less "look what happened when I send-ed it!?!??!" type of claims to respond to... which I would think makes it easier for them to be ...

Re: Original Hpi Nitro Rs4
I remember the days of sugaring the track.
The tires nowadays are far better than they use to be. I will probably get some foams and some rubber tires. I might try racing it a couple times, but it won’t be anything serious. I will mostly run it around in the street.

Re: Original Hpi Nitro Rs4
Yeah you can tune the clutches on these by making them engage earlier or later, but that’s about it.
That would be pretty cool to see your friends car. Those 1/8 gas on road cars are crazy fast.

Re: 3rd owner rc10gt
Oh yeah it definitely needs tlc. A lot of tlc.
It won’t take a lot of parts to restore it as everything is in pretty good shape.

Re: 3rd owner rc10gt
Intitial inspection on the gt is not great, but not bad. The engine was stored for god knows how long without a flow plug in it and the sleeve is a fairly dark blue. All the bearings are shot. The chassis is hollowed out too much at the motor mount screws as the wrong screws were used. It does have ...
