Shock ID help: Equalizer shocks?
Hello all, need some assistance identifying these shocks. I have an old Kyosho Lazer that came with these shocks (I’m not the original owner). They look like the Equalizer shocks but they don’t have the 6 sided shock caps. See photos. These have round smooth caps (maybe swapped?). I also thought the...

Re: Dukomo YZ10
Hey Gonzo you gonna race the Dukomo at the Norcal Turkey Race?
BTW, can you turbo-match some of my old nimh cells? I've been itching to play with my Airsoft guns and may need to build new packs.

Re: My Turbo Optima never ran
Very nice box art scheme. I was going to ask the same question about the black pin stripe.
Is the driver painted from the inside or the outside? I haven't painted my driver yet but I will paint it on the outside because I would think the colors would be subdued because of the tinted plastic.

Re: My newly restored and built Kyosho vintages
Hi cpebach...Awesome line detail on the Optima body. I have a few restorations in the works. Did you paint the black and blue pinstripe lines from the inside of the Optima body? Is it ok to "cheat" and use black pinstripe tape? I think I will need to go that route since I always have paint...

Re: JG optima mid
Nice work, what kind of paint did you use for the body. Is that a Tamiya yellow, #19?
I have to get around to painting my bodies as well and finishing up a few shelfers.

Re: OPTIMA PRO?????
The bumper being cut and missing front shocks will hurt a bit. Try not spend too much money on it since you are planning on parting with it anyway. If you can, sell it as it is.

Re: OPTIMA PRO?????
As a runner, the belt drive and the gold shocks are more durable and would be worth it to the buyer. Does the belt conversion also include that plastic lexan dust cover for the rear gearbox? You can include the chain if it is used. If the chain is unused and new, you can part it out and sell it sepa...

Re: silver anniversary optima
Nice work. You cleaned up that Optima from eBay really good. That is the one from eBay right? It looks so different now...like brand new.
Did you remove the gold anodization from the shocks and nerf bars?
Post more photos of your progress. Are you going to get a Marwan reproduction body for it?

Re: OPTIMA PRO?????
Do you have any photos of the Optima Pro? For an Optima Pro runner, slightly restored, original chain guides and covers, original bumper, reproduction body, belt drive and gold shocks I'd say between $150-$180. If you had the original box, manual, decals, unpainted body, nice bumper, complete chain ...

Re: Finally, some Ultima bodies from Marwan!
I have purchased multiple bodies and decals from Marwan (at least 15) and he does some very good bodies. His prices are pretty good considering you get accurate decals, undertrays for some vehicles along with the main body and wing. Yes, he may be able to work something out with you. Just send him a...
