Stupid Stealth Diff Question, Maybe
I took some time off from my hobbies for the last 4 months or so. I still trolled the board though  But now that things have calmed down I decided to find out what that diff noise was in my RC10 Runner. I ended up needing a new diff. Now I'm 99% sure the reason my last two diffs have failed is...

looking good. What body are you going to use? It would look killer with a buggy body... does anyone even make one that would fit?

Re: RC10T Mold, My Greatest Find Ever?
Are you going to start to have someone make some bodies? really interested..:) Sorry, i've had a lot of family related stuff come up over the past few months. I still have the mold but any plans to make bodies from it have been placed on the back burner for now. Mr. Lexan makes some nice re-pros th...

Re: Painted DS Body Question
wow, I didn't think I was ever going to get a response on this  The Body is by itself. I got it at a Hobby Shop that is now closed so I can't ask the owner about it. It's Painted red and done very well with no signs of overs pray, runs, etc... I know some of the original RC10 Bodies were availa...

Re: Tips for Starting an Engine That has been sitting a whil
I would definetely get all of the old gas out of the tank. No doubt. Hopefully the last time it burned fuel, it was the non-ethanol gas. If it wasn't, I can almost gaurantee you will need to go through and clean the carb due to varnishing. The ethanol-mix fuel seems to be really bad about that. doe...

Re: Tips for Starting an Engine That has been sitting a whil
thanks for all the tips, It's going to be a week or two before I get it to my house. After that I'll start going over it. Shouldn't be too hard, I've worked on GM big blocks before: a olds 455 and currently a Cadillac 429. Looks to be much more simpler in a Boat application, Lots more room for sure ...

Re: Tips for Starting an Engine That has been sitting a whil
Thanks for the quick responses,
It was garage kept and covered for the last five years. It does have a holly on it
should I fill the bowl with fuel and let it sit a bit before cranking? or is it a "cross my fingers" and fire it up situation ![Laughing ](./images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)

Tips for Starting an Engine That has been sitting a while...
I though I'd ask around here first, I figured many of us have big toys as well as little ones... I recently acquired my father's Jet Boat (after 10 years of nagging) The Engine (454) was rebuilt in 2003 and not ran much between 2003 - 2005. It has sat in my Father's garage since. Any tips on prep an...

Re: Tips for cleaning steel screws... seriously
Thanks for all the tips guys, I will be trying a few out for sure later on. For my slash screws I just sprayed them with brake cleaner and it worked as expected. It's definitely the easiest and quickest way. But like Reg said, Be carefull  The grease and grime came right off, not perfect but t...

If your not looking for graphite, the standard #6231 tower will work and is still available: http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LX2529&P=M
