Crawler/beadlock Wheels on an RC10T

Has anyone put Crawler or bead lock wheels/tires on an RC10T? If so, please post pictures and/or what type of wheels/tires they are?

I'm looking for some ideas. Thank you.

Re: Clodbuster Old is Old build

Gotta let us know how she runs with the 5.5 motors. Will clod tranny's hold up to that power? I've never owned one and am curious. A vid with it flying would be even better! I'd be interested in building something like this as well, although I definitely would not have the skill to make such awesome...

Re: I keep blowing my diff gear

Yep, thrust bolt is fine and ears are perfect. I tightened the thrust bolt all the way the last time I rebuilt it, hoping it look essentially lock up the diff and create no movement. What I think I have to do is rebuild again and this time, loosen my slipper wwwaaaayyy more than I have previously. H...

Re: I keep blowing my diff gear

Hey J, The actual teeth on the gears look brand new. It's the melting factor I think. I kow the 7700kv is too much but I can't bring myself to accept that. Lol... I mean, honestly, I've seen vids of people running 6s with brushless set ups doing 65+ mph with a stealth tranny. I think I'm going to ha...

I keep blowing my diff gear

Hello everyone, Looking for some ideas. I keep blowing my diff gear in my 2.25 stealth. I've tried rebuilding it to spec three times, using the correct diff lube on the diff balls, and the associated black grease on the diff shaft balls that sit between the two washers, tigthen then a 1/4 turn off i...

Re: Best place to buy ESC, LiPo, 2.4 radio, and brushless se

Be careful with the kv's and the esc choice on the ezrun systems. I bought a ezrun combo with a 60A ESC and a 5T Brushless Motor and the motor went real quick. I should of read up more on the setup I bought. Apparently, you need a much higher amp rating on the ESC for a 5T motor. I still don't under...

Re: CVD Pin Clips

Thanks Steve. Haven't tried the heat shrink tubing/thread lock but have tried a ton of electrical tape and believe it or not, the pin is still popping through it. There were these metal rings that I saw once in a post on here but haven't been able to find them since. I think I will continue to searc...

CVD Pin Clips

Hello everyone, Can someone please send me the post or tower link for the CVD pin rings? I swear, if I lose another pin holding together the CVD, I'm going to go insane. I have two different CVD's. The b44's for my "old is new" RC10 and MIP GT CVD's for my RC10 Graphite Monster Truc...

Re: "Monster" Truck RC10

Hey CON2, I just recently built a "sort of" Monster Truck using a bunch of GT aluminum parts. Here's the post link. http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=20927 She was running great until something happened with my stealth tranny. Left wheel spins fine, spur gear/b4 slipper work...
