Check out this website, they are pretty much the place to go for "at home" anodizing stuff. They also have a forum section which would probably be the best place to ask your specific questions. Let us know the results!

Re: Local consignment score
Personally, I like the guys who Loctite EVERYTHING. Loctite on locknuts, on self-tapping screws, I even found one that had loctite on some e-clips! They are usually the same ones that use a half roll of electrical tape on the wires, but at least that's a step up from duct tape  In the words o...

It's also got wing tubes which wouldn't have been on a truck.

Re: MRP Pro-110 - m_vice built.
WOW! Looks great Miguel. To maybe shed a little light on the inner shock spring question, they are actually there for a simple reason, volume compensation. I believe the shocks are actually made by Delta and all of their shock designs utilized a floating piston/o-ring/spring to compensate for the ro...

Re: What Body???
It depends if you need the body for a wide (10L) or narrow (10LSS) chassis. You will probably find more variety for the narrow cars. PM coming your way.

Re: Need help ID-ing a rear pod
Not sure really, it looks close to the one I have in a box of Carpet Knife and Speedmerchant parts. There are a few differences, but they may have made changes along the way.

Re: Body trimming?
I've never been real happy with the lexan scissors method. Always seems to leave a slightly jagged edge which makes it easier for cracks to develop. I have always used an Xacto knife with A NEW BLADE. The new blade is the key. Lexan is somewhat like glass in that all you have to do is score it and i...

The dudgeon came with its own transmission too. And a wooden brake drum that had a metal band the goes across the top and makes contact with the drum. http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=2906&hilit=kunio Actually it was a phenolic matrerial, but it really did look like a hunk of wo...

Re: RC10 Team car box pic request
Pancar, thanks -that is perfect! And the later say 1993 and on boxes had some different artwork on one side, an image of four different bodies mounted on a drawing of the 10--not sure if the art you just provided me with changed or not. No, problem, I learned a little bit in the process also. Now y...

OK, so both mine say "Copyright 1991" in the bottom corner of the box. I assume they used this same box art for quite a few years. How can we tell from the box if it is early or late?? Pictures attached, sorry for the poor quality.

Re: Anyone tried this? Yellowed parts white
Im trying this as we speak. The parts have been in the peroxide for about 3 hours so far and the results look promising. I also went to harbor freight and bought an ultrasonic cleaner so I tried it out on a yellowed a arm and I don't think it did a thing. I used just straight tap water. When using ...
