Re: GoMachV's Grasshopper build
This thing will dominate the 17.5T carpet spec world. No doubt in my mind.

Re: Time for another new RERE section- now MARDAVE!
These have always been intriguing over the years to me. Not much info on them here in USA. They look basic but have all the right basic formula it would seems at 1st glance to get around the track just fine.

Re: Any new So Cal R.C. track coming??.
Sadly the general conversation is how will any track survive. SoCal is high rent and space cost. SDRC in San Diego has a new owner who was able to negotiate a new 5 year lease from what I have read so they should be safe for a bit. Was very close to closing permanently.

Re: Thoughts on the Re-Release Movement in RC
Yeah I am just giving you the business. Numbers for sure matter though, look at the big races today, like 452 AE's, 6 Xray's, 2 Kyosho and 1 TLR. Deck is kind of stacked. But yeah, vintage will move on. Porsche did something similar in the 80's in one of their ads I recall. Read, top 10 finishers at...

Re: Thoughts on the Re-Release Movement in RC
I would like a XX of my own for comparison testing. Not to race though as I'm not interested in loading up on spares. Plus you'd have to accept how much better of a car it is than an RC10 and that would be a hard pill to swallow. Sorry, couldn't resist. As to the rerelease phenom, it's great ...

Re: Any pics of Jay Halsey's 91 worlds losi
Looks like the gold anodized Losi JRX shocks. Had a set or two at one point, don't see them much these days. Though I am sure someone here has 234 of them in a box.

Re: brushed ESC's- new vs old old tech
Well the motor and esc is already one in all the Hobbywing Fusion. In crawlers they are hands down the winner. I am shocked how smooth they are. The ability for it to hold speed when it encounters obstacles without additional trigger input is very cool for that world. The Fusion SE series is like $8...

Re: brushed ESC's- new vs old old tech
I wonder how long before Fusion style ESC / Motors become the thing in cars too. In my yard bashers they work fine in buggies and once I put one in my crawler the days of the "hobbywing 1080 is best" were dead to me

This screams for a garden railroad in my not so humble opinion.

Long long ago, I cut up my old RC Car Actions and made this for the wall.

Totally, same car over and over who thinks he is going to win if the marshal just gets to him 3 seconds quicker on his 37th crash, been there! Generally though I have found most people to have the right attitude. Always a couple though and in my experience those couple are not always the slow guys.

Re: 2025 RC10Talk.com Roostpalooza post race!
Ahh, that makes sense. Sometimes guys get accused of blocking and honestly I've been there, they are competing hard for whatever spot they are in and not 100% focused on the fast guy trying to lap them for the 3rd time. I recall an outdoor asphalt TT02 series that happened to me. Was having a great ...
