Re: 23 Mph with RC-10

That is a nice set up. I run the same Novak 10.5 with a Reedy 3600 Nimh battery and a 6 gear transmission set up with a 12 tooth pinion and 54 tooth spur. I get around 31-32 mph but I am running 2.2 inch tires all around so my roll out is bigger. I think it is a nice balance of speed and runtime (20...

Re: Kyosho... Bringing knives to gunfights for 20 years.

Very cool trucks you've got there. I always dug the look of the Kyosho trucks, the Big Brute, Double Dare, High Rider Vette, etc. I owned a USA-1 though and it was a lemon. I assume the smaller trucks probably performed better. I love seeing the vintage Kyosho monsters now days, they seem far less ...

There is just something about a ClodBuster that makes it mesmerizing to run. Must be the big chevrons. Nice truck and pics.

Re: Play or save brand new RC10

New, I wouldn't run it—there are plenty of $70 RC10s out there if you want to scratch and dent. Run it and it's worth considerably less than it was before you opened the box. +1 It is very hard to find a new built or SNIB RC10 but you could easily get a runner for less than $100. Keep it shiny and ...

Re: Jelly Beans??

Oven cleaner works great but don't use it indoors b/c the fumes are nasty and I would wear gloves too. In my experience too the wheels usually need to be dyed b/c the chroming/de-chroming process leaves them dull looking.

Awesome! Thanks for the help guys. I just ordered the fiberglass version so it will match the fiberglass rear tower.

World's front end upgrade help

Hello all, this is my first post here and I am looking for some help. I am upgrading my front end with the wider arms and inline axles found on the World's car (and some other versions I think) and I can not find a World's Front Shock Tower part # ASC6232. Does anyone know where I can find one or wh...
