thanks i always wanted one too, and i swore i would never spend over $200 on one, this one came in right there, wanted a bargain...
i always wanted to have a beach race with a srb class and a "run what you bring" class, meaning anything goes.. problem is lack of good sand tires i think..

i had to soak it in a tub for 2-4 days to get everything off with a toothbrush, but it went down to bare plastic afterwards no problem, and was like $11 bucks for a LARGE container of it at walmart

Thanks for tips Guys, i managed to strip paint over last week or so by soaking in purple power (thanks rick), did a good job of removed the black paint that just created a total fricken mess.. went to local train shop and got some tamiya thin primer, can of black, and some testor's gloss clear coat,...

i would mold some but they would probably cost $10 each to make lol, i think the better option is to have the lexan ones for the torque pinion reproed

ive used the thin foam under batteries too, to prevent noise and a bit of shock absorption.
If u are feeling really adventurous with a blade, they sell thicker foam about the same thickness as a RC10 tranny gasket, one could be cut from it, always wanted to try cutting some but never had patience

victor's i think they are, later became TMS or sold molds to them, then duratrax which killed off alot of the line. think i have 2 sets of them if ya need em.
