Re: My new runner

I was hoping for that, I think at the new track I'm going to strap a mod motor to my 22 and see how it goes. It's my final leap in the racing world, it's been running very well in the stock class so I think I won't be too bad in mod.

Re: My new runner

It's looking good, will you be running this in the 17.5 class or mod?

Re: RC10 runner/racer

You can even get them for SC now. They work pretty well everywhere, from loamy to bar code conditions.

Re: RC10 runner/racer

22 wheels all the way around. The front uses B4 parts with the hex's. The hex's are from a street weapon, however they're only like 9.8mm so I'm thinking about putting a little groove in and fitting an o-ring around it so the wheel fits more snugly on it. The rear is the B44 cva conversion and the 2...

Re: RC10 runner/racer

jay dub - Excellent work on the towers, the fit and finish is top notch. Tapped all the holes and it's ready to go. Charlie - Not sure what you're asking. All that is carbon fiber are the towers and the battery hold down. The steering linkage is one of the regular JC ball cups and one of their odd c...

Re: RC10 runner/racer

Been doing some work to it... https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-Npu8XE34WNo/T6CS4ukqqNI/AAAAAAAAEig/BNUOdTSEQCE/s800/IMG_1167.jpg An old/new comparison. The 22 is still dirty from last weekend and getting stomped by Ruffy. https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-g2jsPTsSTi8/T6CSIrRoFwI/AAAAAAAAEiA/Qjr4c...

Re: happy birthday Ruffy!!!

Didn't realize it was your Birthday last weekend! Seems like you gave yourself a pretty good present with a great weekend of racing. Thanks for all the tips up at NewRed, they really helped out in the main as I was able to be very consistent and beat Austin who was faster but not quite as consistent.

Re: RC10 runner/racer

That sounds like a pretty good day. I really wanted to go to the Super Cup race but it's the same day I have a big family event so that's not going to work out, although I should be at the Daytona SuperCup race. I'm sure you're pretty busy working on those new buggies these days. And I know how powe...

Re: RC10 runner/racer

Ruffy said you guys were going to the race. I ran SCK Saturday and didn't really want to run two races in one weekend. How was OCR, I ran there a few weeks ago for the club race? There wasn't many buggies and I finished 2nd out of 4 but it was mostly just friendly racing, SC mod was the exciting cla...

Re: RC10 runner/racer

Did a few more small changes and now it's all ready to go this weekend. Should be a good time at the track, and Ruffy should be out racing his RC10s again.
