What is that white steering linkage you've got going from servo?
That doesn't look familiar to me.

jay dub - Excellent work on the towers, the fit and finish is top notch. Tapped all the holes and it's ready to go.

Charlie - Not sure what you're asking. All that is carbon fiber are the towers and the battery hold down.

The steering linkage is one of the regular JC ball cups and one of their odd cups made for extra clearance under wheels. It all comes in the pack they sell.

i see the 22 wheels (did that on my JRX 5 link car, promptly took them off the steering was caddywhampus), was wondering if you used the trailing arm knuckles, your wheels base looks shortened (or it just could be the photos).

Man that's a keen eye if you can tell that's a 4mm nut. Evidently your not as old as i am.

22 wheels all the way around. The front uses B4 parts with the hex's. The hex's are from a street weapon, however they're only like 9.8mm so I'm thinking about putting a little groove in and fitting an o-ring around it so the wheel fits more snugly on it. The rear is the B44 cva conversion and the 22 +1.5mm hex's fit right on.

The front is about 3/16 more narrow than original and the rear is the same. Just have to be sure to lay the wheels against the hex because they don't fit on the axles snugly, close but not snug.

The wheel base is 1 3/8" shorter than the 22, however the 22 is about as long as you can go in the buggy class.

Now I just need to work on limiting in the shocks, the towers from jay dub were perfect as the stock shocks gave about the same amount of droop.

2nd look with my old eyes makes me think the wheel nuts are the jconcepts serrated ones, they look identical to my 4mm serrated nuts i use on my 22.

Nothing strange with the wheels that I noticed, but I've seen those rear tires before...

You can even get them for SC now. They work pretty well everywhere, from loamy to bar code conditions.
