Which traxxas bumper is a direct bolt-on? I can't tell from the pics.

I think making *replacement* parts rather than *reproduction" parts would be great ... that way the runner crowd can obtain essential spares while satisfying the folks who want to respect the intellectual property of the original designer(s) and copyrights. I would second the 5-link rear lower ...

In the initial post he mentioned that this body was purchased used and painted. Presumably the previous owner had cut it out, painted it, and mounted it. I don't think that the mounting holes are the work of LTO!

Whatever you do with the rest of it, consider keeping the body uncut until someone can re-pop it ... bodies for that particular wheelbase are few and far between.

It's too bad that Traxxas got the Monster Jam deal, it should have been Tamiya. Absolutely. I remember reading somewhere that boiling nylon "relaxes" it. I guess that coincides with what you said about reversing the polymerization reaction. Now the question is how long does it take for the polymers to change enough where they can no longer slide past one another as easily? Shoul...
