does an original box have value?
Please note, this thread is not a solicitation to sell anything - I have already requested permission to access buy/sell and I know this is not the forum to sell in;; rather to ask a question: I have an original box for a RPS/Yokomo Dog Fighter RPS SE, 1985 or 1986, in remarkably good condition over...

Re: AE Reedy modified motor info.
Are you sure it's 21, and not something else (perhaps the 1 is first, like 12 or 13 or 17 or something)? if the writing was sloppy it could maybe look like 21 if it were upside down. just asking because 21 seems like an uncommon/unlikely wind. there was plenty of 27 turn motors (stock), plenty of 19...

Re: Alternative way of connectng Deans
It may not look quite as nice, but soldering the + lead to the OUTSIDE side of the positive terminal on the connector will give you a lot more distance/room between the + and - terminals. Solder the - terminal first, with say a popsicle stick between the + and - terminals to keep the gap free and cl...

Re: How to run modern rubber on your JRX series car
To add another "data point": I picked up some B4 fronts (P/N 9588), and they will need to be spaced out more than I realized to fit (JrxPro SE). They sit just about perfect with a spare bearing on the front axle prior to slipping the wheel on. it's enough that the stock Losi plastic wheel ...

Re: alternate thrust bearing for XX diff found
I'll try the XXX thrust next time, thanks for the tip.
The XX retrofit tranny instructions call for LOSA3071 which is the part I was having a hard time finding.

alternate thrust bearing for XX diff found
don't know if it will help anyone but thought I would share. I have been looking for a thrust bearing for an XX diff (well, actually, the XX diff in my retrofit tranny, but whatever). I had some difficulty finding one online. I just happened to be wandering through the local hobby shop and came acro...

Re: Tracking down something for a JRX2
I can't say if they are the same, but you should be able to use the pictures and visually at least tell if they are close.
The A5023 part is correct for a JrxPro and SE variant; it's entirely possible that the bottom spring cup/collar is the same for your Jrx2.

Re: proline B2 & B3 front wheels.. bearing doesn't fit?
I'd be happy to trade them off for some wide 2.2 b2/b3 wheels where the bearing fits snug. Do the genuine Associated fit? are there any other options?
I have three sets. all brand new, never seen glue.

proline B2 & B3 front wheels.. bearing doesn't fit?
I picked up some NOS Pro-Line 2639 2.2" front wheels for the B2 and B3, but am having a problem. The inner bearing fits perfectly properly, but the outer bearing falls into the wheel and does not fit snug. I used my caliper, and the inner bearing area is 0.3745 (pretty much exactly what you wou...

Re: Solder problem!!!! NEED HELP!!!!!!!!!
you might try heating the exposed wire end you want to solder for several seconds with a lighter or small torch. if there is some kind of coating on the wire, this MIGHT burn it off. hold the wire with needlenose or pliers so the heat doesn't wick up the wire and burn up the insulation. or just send...
