Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
Hi. Can anyone identify the manufacturer of these alloy wheel covers for Tamiyas Ford Ranger/Subaru Brat models? They are old stock but the seller lost the packaging forever ago. I’ve seen them on models before so they are out there. Thanks in advance. They are Race Prep. I have a rear pair (the na...

Re: Shapeways shipping cost?
Do you know anyone local to you with a 3d printer? That's a pretty simple part to model. Maybe someone local can print you a set real quick.

Re: Having a kid.....
Same boat here! Just turned 39 and my girl is 3. Other end of the spectrum for sure! Congrats on your son closing on his house Scr8p! I know it was a hassle, but sounds like it all worked out. We are all moved in here too and a couple weeks deep into house projects. Lots to do here before it's all d...

Re: SRB Hop Up Pics & Info Thread
Are the red axles threaded metric or standard? That might help narrow it down. MIP axles would probably be 10-32.

Re: A couple of parts that turned into a build/mess
If you use more of a bbs style wheel (flat face), you could run the hub on the inside of the wheels to narrow it up, and trim off the inner 1/2" (or whatever it is) off the wheels. I hadn't considered that. That is a good option! Printing wheels sounded cool, but them I have to find donuts, mo...

Re: A couple of parts that turned into a build/mess
Slowly making some progress with this. The printed parts are installed and the general mock up is pretty far along. Still need to test fit the shocks and bend my sway bars. I need to pick up the material for those next week, and a few other misc things. It's getting there though! Hopefully I can bre...

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
Anyone know what these wheels and adapters are for? They look similar to Hot Shot or other 4wd buggies from that era. They're another one of those parts that looks familiar but I can't quite remember what they were for. http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f164/shutupanddrive714/RC%20crap/WUT/5D428535-...

A couple of parts that turned into a build/mess
I had an extra pair of Hot Trick style chassis support blanks laying around and an MIP SP1 trans that I had rebuilt, and somehow that turned into a complete build. Kind of road race or modified style with a cut down Scorcher body and a set of TRC pan car foams. I started this a long time ago, but pr...

Re: Mip 4x chassis
Like other Jeff said, I'm glad I can finally get my 4x400 assembled now with the help of this chassis. If I have the opportunity to replace it with an original one I will certainly jump at it, but they are rare and the people that have them don't want to let them go. I'll be happy to use a repop unt...
