Someone is selling a dismantled one on eBay right now. Seems like a strange thing to do to a Worlds car... :?

Actually, they look like the early 90's Losi stagger block, to me. Was a JRX2 mainstay for more than a few years.

Neat! Has a bit of an Associated 12E feel to it.

Very cool!

i need to check and see if there are any people racing vintage buggies in my area. i've never raced rc, but i think if there was a vintage class it might be a little more relaxed of a scene. BTW, there isn't even CURRENT electric buggy racing in this area (more or less). I think I am building a lot...

Yup, you absolutely can't do it. And no, bleach does NOT work.

I got a few photos last night of the used motors, and they all look like they were VERY well cared for. It looks like there are both stock and mod motors, from Trinity, Reedy, Black Magic, Fantom, Losi Revolution, Twister, Kyosho, Litespeed, Speedworks, Race Prep, B&R and even a couple of Astro ...

Vintage Motors

I have a serious line on about 55-60 new and lightly used vintage race motors from the mid 80s to early 90s, from various manufacturers. Would anyone be interested in any of them if I buy the lot?

any idea who made the front spring collars? they're alloy and look alot like the ones on the boxart original rc10. i need a matching rear set and knowing the manufacturer may help the search. They are Delta knock-offs and I'm 99% sure they were made by Hot Trick, too. Back then, the ONLY red anodiz...

Nice! Full Hot Trick with the wide foot front end, Kyosho gold front shocks and what looks like one-off front aluminum arms. Pretty sweet. My brother raced a car similar to that.

Excellent!

I had an original Dogfighter (RPS) in about '87 or so, and I have always wanted one to restore now and have been looking for one for years. One just sold this past weekend for $560 and a NOS set of wheels went for $43 yesterday, so I don't think I'll be doing that anytime soon. :( The origina...

Woven Carbon Chassis Usage

Does anyone know when Associated started using the woven carbon sheet as opposed to the "Composite Craft" type directional fiber? Not just on the RC10, but the 10L/12L, too? I would imagine it was used company-wide, whever they made the switch.

Thanks! The new and current paint job on the Twister body (hasn't been completed yet) replicates the photo in the background of the body-on shot, which is exactly as I ran in '88/'89.

Dirt Oval: Superior SRP-1

Hey guys, I'm glad I found this board, because I was about ready to start up another community for this very topic. :D In the past few years, I have found that I enjoy the part of R/C racing that doesn't include racing anymore. And I really enjoy the old stuff from my past in R/C, too. I have been s...
