Re: New to me RC10's, could use advice

Great score! I did the peroxide whitening a few years back and it worked a little too well and gave a very "un-vintage" looking bright white, just a heads up :D was most likely a user error

Re: Going brushless/restoring choice - Kyosho or RC10T?

Perfect! I'm glad to hear the stealth is a better candidate to be honest - no offense to the kyosho guys but TA is just a different kind of quality...

Thank you all for the advice and I will post pics up when the truck starts coming together:)

Re: Going brushless/restoring choice - Kyosho or RC10T?

First thing you should figure out is what class of vehicle you want to run. The Ultima is a dirt oval chassis. Really only designed to turn left over and over. Not something you'd want to try and clear a triple jump with. ;) The 10T is an offroad truck. You can set it up for ovals but stock it's mo...

Going brushless/restoring choice - Kyosho or RC10T?

I have always been sentimentally partial to TA but recently came across an interesting ultima - http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=39121 I have an rc10t with a stealth trans and the kyosho, one will get built up with modern electronics and due to space and a baby on the way I will have...

Kyosho ultima sprint ID advice - UPDATED PICS

Hello! I bought this based off of worse photos than mine:) I got a great deal and was thinking it was an rc10 because of the gold shocks and similar battery tray and white parts... So it arrives and I have no experience with Kyosho. I believe I have an ultima or turbo ultima with a grand motorsports...

Re: 10t ID - running in circles

Yup late 10t sport truck. Came with bushings, gold shocks, and dogbones. The late ones used T2 style arms which yours has, but lacks the curved chassis and trans of a T2 Here is a T2 chassis, see the difference? http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=35795 I feel silly I missed that! Pic ...

Thank you! I have asked around on other sites and the black arms seem to throw people off - mind if I ask what stuck out as the 10t?

10t ID - running in circles

I got this from a buddy at work and can not tell if it's a T or T2 no matter how much research. He had two trucks and brought this one in to me - the T3 manual is from his other truck. I was pretty convinced it was the 10t with stealth trans and aluminum pan but haven't seen the gold shocks with bla...
