Re: Hi Cap shock prices
Thanks Dan. Yes first thing I noticed when I opened the box was how heavy the car is. I thought the guy I bought it from had sent me a few bricks! I wouldn't mind building a lose Jamie Booth Works replica so the Madcap parts are on my list of bits to look out for. I'm not really into building replic...

Re: Hi Cap shock prices
Certainly not going to pay over the odds for premium quality. I will wait around for the right priced option to come along certainly not in a rush to build this one. I'm not a purist as such, I'm happy to stick some re re shocks on but they have to be Tamiya, I cant stick Kyosho shocks on this one a...

Re: Hi Cap shock prices
Problem is I always want the expensive stuff. No matter what I like I always like the expensive option. I think in the long run I will end up getting a set of these but wait for a cheaper used set to appear. I do also need a set of golds for another build. I have a set on an old Lazer so can test th...

Hi Cap shock prices
Hi Guys, I need some advice/thoughts. I need to get a set of Tamiya Hi Cap shocks. I really don’t have any spare funds at the moment but have started to look around at the prices these go for. The ones I want are currently on ebay for over $275 plus $35 postage. I’m intending to run the car so the d...

Re: Hello from a new London-based RC10 convert.
£100, I recently well overpaid for my RC10 project. Yours looks great. Mine is on the back burner while I work out some other bits and refinance after a couple of very large purchases.
Were are you in London? I use to live in Chingford but now kent.

Re: The Samurai
Guys, I am dipping out of this one. I stripped the car, put most of the plastics through the dishwasher but what I suspected was nicotine has remained. I have decided to list the car on ebay for sale and use the funds for my other two cars. I might be asking too much on ebay who knows any way I will...

Racing with the Team Vol 1 No.2
Hi Guys, excuse my lame search techniques, can someone confirm if the magazine (guess its a mag) below has been scanned before? If not I will scan for you all to have a read. https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1559/25381171594_9639f818a7.jpg Not sure of the history of these mags so any further info woul...

Re: Mutli car set up
OK so in an ideal world then you guys set your cars up with a full time receiver and steering servo then just swap motors and cells around as required with the ESC?

Mutli car set up
Hi Guys, So it seems most of you/us have more than one car. I have been out of the RC world for a while, at the moment I have, say three running cars. Thing is I only have one set of electrics and they are pretty old and beat up. So how do you run all your cars. Do you have once set of running elect...

Re: The Samurai
That is a great idea, dishwasher it is. Dam I am going to stick a load of bits in there from other stuff as well. Might as well make the most of it. I guess small bits go on the basket thing and big bits can be cable tied to the racks. I'm going to find it difficult to actually wait until Thursday n...

Re: The Samurai
Breaking News - Other half has told me she is possibly out Thursday night. Instead of asking Paris Hilton around I am going to strip the Samurai. What is the best method to clean this gunk (possibly smoking tar) from the plastic? I will post some more detailed pictures as I go I promise. Just not su...

Re: Thinking of getting out of RC...mostly
If you have any Tomy bits give up now and sell the items to me  Seriously (that was serious if you have) I would keep the stuff, put it to one side and look back in a while from now. I have sold things in the past which I regret. One thing, an old car would no be worth a hell of a lot of money....

Re: HELP, does anyone on here now own my old lazer zxr ?
As it says on the old Tamiya Mad Cap - Never Give Up!
Keep us updated if you do track it down. I wish I still had my Schumacher Shot Gun truck. Good luck.
