Re: Shock rebuild kit
I used those on my bottom load shocks, everything seems to fit just fine on my shocks, including the o-rings which are more like x-rings. The associated shock rebuild kit 6440 is for toploading shocks. I Have and 10T with gold shocks.

Re: Bottom loader shock question
The Traxxas shock rebuild kit comes with the circlips, and blue x-rings that fit in and seem to seal well.

Re: RC10T to RC10DS DIY conversion.
So RC10 buggy rear arms are a different length? That's the main hold up question in this plan... How wide is and rc10? I was hoping to keep the truck front bulkhead in one piece, that would limit choices on front A-arms as well. According to tower hobby the front RPM rc10 arms are 58.5mm or 2.3 inch...

RC10T to RC10DS DIY conversion.
Alright, I have this idea of converting my 10t to a psuedo 10ds floating around in my head. I think I could cut shock towers and a simple no-kick up nose from carbon, (if anyone has a template or basic measurments of the shock towers for a DS that would be great). And it seems I would have to change...

Re: rc10 rear arm mounts
Hate to bring back an old thread, but... Does anyone still make these, or mounts made of anything. My one has developed a crack (at no fault of my own of course), and may break soon and explode (cause that's what happens when they break right?) Anyway, any help is much appreciated.

Re: RC10T ball diff rebuild kit?
the part numbers don't match up, so my best guess would be no.

Re: RC10T ball diff rebuild kit?
The TC3 uses the same wear items in the ball diff as the 1st gen stealth, part #3926, http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXPA07&P=7 . All the part numbers seem to match according to the exploded views on rc10.com EDIT: that kit includes everything except the 3/32 balls in the d...

Re: Strange motor issue.
Think I found the issue the comm was filthy dirty in a ring. some q-tips down the brush holders seemed to clear it up.

Strange motor issue.
Alright, this newest problem is my motor, a reedy radon 19t (I think). My issue is that the motor doesn't run till you push the end of the shaft with the pinion. This motor is non-rebuildable so taking it apart to do anything is a real PITA. It looks like the brushes are making good contact with the...

Steering bellcrank issue
Alright my rc10t has an issue the screw that holds the bellcrank is stripped out, is there an easy solution to this, the only fix I've seen is use rc10 steering in the front holes. I hate the sloppy steering it has right now with the little play in the bellcrank as it moves slightly.

Re: E-clips keep popping off.
I think I need to get the pins to turn more easily because the pins on the front a-arms do not turn with the arm but stay stationary in the bulkhead instead making the clip rotate on the arm or on the pin.

Re: rc10 rear arm mounts
They just sent me an e-mail, those mounts have been discontinued but they still have the aluminum ones in stock. I'm not sure if I want to risk $35 on them.
