Re: New product on the way.....
Looking forward to how this works out. Had to mod my gold pan to take a b4 trans. Would be really cool to show up at the track with a goldie, and fly the triple with an 8.5!

....Lots of lead weight added in the nose! Copy that. Clearly he didn't have a pit box full of tuning options at his disposal. I think some if us here could have helped him out a bit there. :D So what is the story on the lead weight? Add steering? Try to create high speed push? With a 7.0T motor ma...

Very nice to add the photos. That car looks like it should be racing side by side with Kinwald at the 93' worlds

I like the classic shock spring clamps. Hoping this is part of a publicity campaign for a re-release.

RC10 in mix at European Off-Road Series
Found this via a post on rctech... While Cavalieri, Numedahl and Thielke are all running the latest chassis technology here in Dortmund, the fourth member of the factory Associated team Craig Drescher his turning back the clocks running a 1993 RC10. Re: RC10 revisited 25 years later...
It is possible to put a b4 trans in a gold pan. All you need is a carbon/glass spacer under the rear arms, and a homemade bulkhead from bar stock. No chassis cut required!

Re: Race Question - Vintage RC10 or New Buggy?
+1 on breaking stuff on big jumps. I ran my graphite RC10 for a while; even found a way to mount a B4 transmission. Broke some rear arm mounts, and that was enough. Found some replacements on the bay, and now run my RC10 brushed for fun! B4 all the way for modern tracks and my bad, part breaking, dr...

Re: shock O ring confusion
I think the stock o-rings are silicone. Like 9396K11 from McMaster Carr. Or more generically a 006 o-ring. Viton is good stuff (also available from McMaster), but the hardness is a little higher. Some on this board have had success with the Traxxas quad rings. I bought one of the rebuild kits for th...

Re: shock O ring confusion
As a guy who runs a B4.1 and old school stuff, new shafts are awesome. No leaks, and I've run the same o-rings all summer. They aren't too expensive either. I just broke a shock shaft (someone hit me on the straightaway), and about $6 to replace.

Re: Vintage Graphite Chassis snapped!!
I sent a bunch of parts to Composite Craft too. Hope they have new ones available soon! Agreed on the extra stealth holes - not enough strength left in the small section between the screws. Were the extra holes for mid-mount motor placement? Some have luck using CA to repair CF, but that's a pretty ...

Re: Got me my first gold pan and an issue
I have some templates, but they are a little "sketchy". Let me see what I can get together. I have also tweaked them a bit for the second pass. Let me see what I can get together.
