With some of the resto's I've done relating to aluminium parts - shocks/chassis plates etc - I just removed the anodising - Polished them to a shine - polishing before anodising gives a better finish - Have re-anodised locally(at a company) in a different colour to set mine apart from the standard k...

Mostly on Kyosho Superten FW03 and FW04 cars. I have one as well....they really look great even if they dont give the performance of the nitro ones. Great project. I remember drooling over this kit when i was young. Funnily over the years its the only vintage electric buggy i ever really liked and still want. If it gets re released i will most likely get one.

Wow,really great resto work. Have to say, i always preferred the stock white rims on the vintage Red Box Art Clod. But the chrome ones give it that bling look....
