Traxxas sending cease and desist letters to aftermarket companies then backing off.
On April 3rd Traxxas sent out cease and desist letters to some aftermarket companies for trademark infringement. Traxxas said these companies can not say their parts are made for say the Traxxas Slash, T-Maxx, etc. Then on April 12th Traxxas canceled orders for copyright infringement after some back...

Re: What recievers are compatible with Spektrum SLT3?
Thanks for the good advice. I remember when just going 2.4 was mindblowing when you realized the signals went to a satellite.

What recievers are compatible with Spektrum SLT3?
I recently aquired a lot of rc's but no transmitter. All the recievers are Spektrum and a Losi. There is a SLT3 transmitter for sale here locally on Facebook. I searched the interwebs and everything I found says the SLR300 reciever is compadable with upgraded transmitters but it doesn't say if you c...

Re: Shocks, pistons, and oil. Oh my.
I get the idea in theory just not in the application. I would think it would get jammed, float around, or break in the shock. Got to love the early ideas and mods. Are the RPM pistons worth trying out? Better for a buggy or truck.

Shocks, pistons, and oil. Oh my.
Hello everyone. I've been mostly out of the rc scene for a year or so. I have decided to get back into it and have been cleaning up and gathering. Anyways, I need to put together a few pairs of shocks. One set for a buggy that I want to put back together and maybe race if I can find somewhere to do ...

How not to mount a esc on a Slash.
Just got this beauty in the mail. I'm not really a slash guy but wanted the motor esc. combo. I'm finding some steller tech tips to keep the esc mounted such as glue, zip-ties, and yep, even a coat hanger. Also has some 200mph mossy oak duct tape just to make sure the coat hanger don't catch on the ...

Re: World towers.
Most definitely rere choppers but they have 2 fronts and 2 rears for sale. 1 front and 1 rear say world tower but 1 front and 1 rear say vintage world tower. I would like to think the 2 would be vintage but who knows. I just got this one from Valkyrie. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-RC-Associated-R...

Shock pivot ball
Trying to build up a heavy duty front end for a 7035 truck from extra white nylon parts. I tried to use a common shock pivot ball and it won't fit in the arm mount slot. I know there are are 2 or 3 different white nylon arms. These are the thicker arms with more webbing. I even dug out a manual and ...
