Re: Classic racing anyone?

JConcepts makes for both. Just google the manuals for each and you will be able to tell pretty fast with one you have.

Re: Hello from Manitoba Canada

Zombie thread! Pleased to report that I found the missing piece to my wheel. The truck really hasn't done much in the last 7 years. My energy has been towards maintaining my three kids fleet of cars. We are also into planes and boats. My poor old original body is just in rough shape. Back then there...

Haven't seen a single reply yet
Their tech support wants me to show them the dog bone popping out on the rear shock issue. I don't know if I even want to bother. Just used the spacers out of some old shocks.

Re: Shock problems ????

I have called associated and told them about this problem. The tech said that it was engineered that way and should be fine. I told him that they would pop out., and sent him pictures. He wants me to show him it happening. No problem when I get my bearings and install the tranny. I think everyone th...

Re: Production numbers

As far as the production numbers go take a look at the small piece of paper floating around in your kit. It is a checklist to keep track of the bags during the packaging process for quality purposes. There is a number on there that is hand written. It appears to be the sequence number in order of p...

Re: My build has started.

I called AE tech support. They are not aware of a problem (or at least the tech I spoke with). I am going to email them the pictures. I will pick up the 6466 kit when I get the bearings for it.

I will report back what they say.

Re: My build has started.

Okay thanks.

The stoppers in the kit are not even close then. The black spacers that come with it don't even equal the size of one of the black spacers from AE 6466 replacement kit.

Re: My build has started.

... Your shock collar on the original shock is upside down ;) Chris Lol, you are right. I had disassembled the shock years ago, and hastily put it back together so I didn't lose any parts. After I did all that it appears I lost the thin plastic washer that AE supplied as a seal for the end cap. The...

Re: My build has started.

I have a rear shock from my original RC10. https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-RAbpU-XpQmQ/UmX0BQPGTNI/AAAAAAAAAs0/9EXf80A82tI/w852-h568-no/DSCF1090.jpg All of the seals for the shock are on the outside and held with a c clip. I forgot about that. https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-3LXy1URmKa8/UmX0Gp...
