Re: RC10T + brushless conversion = transmission durability?

RC10th, How's the weather here today in Adelaide, middle of winter and I'm in my shorts. The 2.65 RPM gearbox is the one that I am using myself, I was just using it as an example, you are right I would just stick to a standard stealth box, just change the 2.65 in the formula to 2.25. Then do the mat...

Re: RC10T + brushless conversion = transmission durability?

Mfabrizius, Did your motor and speedy come with a gearing chart? Losi Xelorin motor chart indicates - 2wd 1/10 scale Truck 6.5t motor, optimum gear ratio = 11.7 So I already had 87 tooth T3 Spurs so, 87 (spur) divided by 17 (pinion) x 2.65 (Gear box ratio, I have a rpm conversion) = 13.56 (Gear rati...

Re: **Contest Questions/Comments**

Hi everyone, I have some Rc10 Oval conversions, where will they go?
If it is based on a RC10 buggy chassis will it go in with the buggys?
If based on a RC10 Truck chassis will it go in with the trucks?
Can you start a Oval section or will I be left out?
Cheers, Dave.

Re: Hi from Adelaide, Australia.

Thank Guys, Oozzee I will have to have a hunt around for the magazine, wouldn't it be funny that the very magazine that started it all has been lost. With the footy I am a mad engineer and really don't have time for it, also being originally from the country I spent all my free time riding dirt bike...

Re: RPM TRANSMISSION

Thank you Gomachv, it is definitely a grey housing, is it the same as my 2.65 conversion? a gearbox housing and top shaft and everything else comes from the stealth trans.
Cheers, Dave.

Re: RPM TRANSMISSION

It looked like the 2.65 conversion because of the two top shafts lying there, the RPM 2.65 conversion is a housing with different top shaft.
Do you have a good pic of the oval conversion trans, I have never seen one and did not know they existed?
Cheers, Dave.
