Factory Works Traxxas Rustler to SRT-R Conversion
I noticed this chassis kit for Traxxas Rustlers, Stampedes, and Bandits on eBay. Basically, it turns them into an SRT! Anybody have this? If I had a Stampede, Rustler, or Bandit, I'd be all over this thing..

Re: RC10 Yard Bashers! Lets see yours!
Here's my recently completed Horizon Hobby TQ10. It's not pretty enough to be a shelf queen, so it's been around the driveway a few times. It has B4 wheel conversions on it, a brushed Reedy esc from a SC10, and a vintage Associated stock motor. I was surprised at how quick it is! As long as I don't ...

Re: Vote for bodies to be made.
I haven't seen anything mentioned about a Traxxas SRT/LS-II body, but I would pay for one or two of those..

Re: BLUE EAGLE LSII
Huh! I can't find any info on it, but the hood looks a bit different.. If it's a direct fit for a LS-II and SRT, I might have to grab that!

Re: New Member - Trying to rebuild an XX-T
I'm not as knowledgeable as others here, but I had a XXT as a kid and recently fixed one up as a runner. Here's what my experience says... The shocks probably just need new o-rings and oil. I believe 30 weight is a good place to start. Pink springs came stock, but a common setup at the time was to p...

Re: nagreend's past and current rc collection
And finally, the most recent addition to my vintage collection is a Horizon Hobby TQ10 runner. I just got this thing running, and it's a blast! I have no real nostalgia with this car (or any buggy for that matter), but I wanted to own a part of rc history with an original RC10 of some type. I was or...

Re: nagreend's past and current rc collection
The other popular and competitive truck back in 1995 was the Traxxas SRT. For some reason, I didn't buy one of those back in the '90s, but I had to have one to sit next to my RC10T and XXT! I just happened to find a NIB SRT a few hours away on Craigslist, so I grabbed that one as fast as I could and...

Re: nagreend's past and current rc collection
I didn't regret buying the RC10T back in 1995, but it was already being beat out by the Losi XXT, and the T2 had just been announced. My second real rc car was a XXT-CR Graphite Plus, so of course I decided I needed to add a XXT to my collection to replace the one I sold back in 1998. This one is ha...

nagreend's past and current rc collection
I absolutely love this website, and in the spirit of increasing activity and expanding its content, I decided it was time to post my vintage collection. I bought my first hobby grade rc back in 1995, which was the entire reason why I became a paperboy. I was 13 years old and the RC10T2 had just been...

Re: B2 years, reason for short lifespan?
I think a part of it was the era it existed in. The mid '90s were the peak of off-road electric racing, and it was super competitive between Losi and Associated. They pushed each other in ways they hadn't in the past, and the drivers of the time were some of the most popular figures in rc history. O...

Re: A NOS/Mod SRT Build
Where did you find the motor plate, guard, and gearbox case? I haven't had any luck on ebay, lately... I missed out on the gearbox case last week. Congrats on the build! I'm hoping to do the same thing!
