Re: RC10T - Purple #2

Awesome looking truck. I think those Pro 45 front tires are the best looking tires in the history of ever.

T2 with a factory blue tub?

Anybody ever seen a T2 with a dark blue anodized tub? I recently came across one for sale that's stated to have been bought from a former factory driver. The truck looks super clean, but it's got what appears to be a dark blue anodized tub in the pictures. I've never heard of a T2 in anything but bl...

Re: Jconcepts re-issues the RC10GT body

Sabulatec has the original original 10T mold from memory. It's interesting that Jconcepts see's enough of a market to run these bodies considering it sort of goes against their "modern/new" stuff. I hope these stick around for a while. Also, hopefully someone can convince Jconcepts to pro...

Perhaps. I did see the other day that there's somebody retrofitting a B5M trans into a flat pan chassis. I'd hoped to be the first to retro a B5M trans into something, but I'm way too busy with other projects to actually get to it.

Re: Alternative transmission options for a 10T?

Thanks guys, but this is necro thread. I posted that back in 2014. I've since secured a number of Stealth transmissions.

I also picked up a T2 without a transmission and I'm in the process of retrofitting a T5M mid-mount trans in.

Re: Jconcepts re-issues the RC10GT body

Awesome news. It's just disappointing that it doesn't include a decal sheet. Fortunately, MCI has them. Now let's hope that JConcepts will release the 6122 RC10T body. Unfortunately, I believe the original Associated mold for that body ended up in private ownership and the current party that has it ...

Re: Wow modern buggies are fugly

I don't really mind the cab foward look as much on the buggies as I do on the stadium trucks. To me, stadium trucks & truggies have gotten absolutely ridiculous looking. I've got a T5M and I can't bring myself to finish it because I can't find a body for it that doesn't look stupid. Jconcepts H...

Re: Spoiler mounting on a Tomahawk re-re?

awesome pics, thanks!

I'm hoping to be able to minimize cutting of the body because I really want to retain the exhaust feature at the back of the body, although when I look at yours, I don't really miss it.

Re: Best bell cranks

I don't have this setup, so I might be talking 100% out of my ass, but I always thought that the styles that put the ball studs on the cross-bar would have been the best design because it doesn't yank that inner wheel over a ton at the end of the stroke like the other designs all do. This is how alm...

Re: Spoiler mounting on a Tomahawk re-re?

No pics yet, but last night I started experimenting with wing mounting. I ordered the Scorpion mount kit and the Turbo Scorpion mount kit. My preference would be to use the Turbo Scorpion mount kit. Last night I fit that into place but mounting it would require more trimming to the body than I would...

Re: Matteo's RC Movies

I'll swim against the tide - I discovered his channel a few years ago, did not understand why his videos were so popular and my interest waned quickly... I'll go watch a couple of the more recent ones again, I guess. It's one of those things where he is very good at what he does, but follows a very...

Re: Scorpion / Tomahawk re-re tight transmission?

Thanks! I'm anxious to get this done and drive it! I'm also putting together a worlds-ish RC10 buggy, so it should be fun to compare the two cars.
