Re: My original CAT XL - freshly uncovered

Love the build! What wheels are those? Thanks Sprocket. The wheels are Gisom alloys. They came in various fitments and offsets so you have to ensure you have the correct ones. I have a set on my Concept Car also, but the rears have a shallower dish, and as such I have had to use a pair of SRM space...

Re: RC10 Composite Craft Worlds build

^ Thanks TRX-1! I searched my stash and found these transmission braces. All of these are different. I decided to install this one that I believe I got from a member on here a couple of years ago. I believe he made it. I prefer the look of braces that are without the hole for the body post. Also, th...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

I got my first RC10T. It's abused and dirty, but has CVD axles, 3 piece rear wheels, and... Say lot of work required. There seems to have been some fascination with wrapping everything in silver tape. Shock tubes, nose braces, chassis sides, trans brace, etc. I guess it was to get a polished aluminu...

Re: MIP 4X4 kit for the RC10 - GAUGING INTEREST ONLY

They wouldn’t do it when the rere cars were plentiful, from the business side it would be plain stupid to do one now that the rere are gone.

And yes, I’d buy one. But it still will never happen.

Re: How long collecting parts?

I’ve been collecting parts for my ultimate PB9 International build build for 2.5yrs now and I’m about 90% there I only need a servo, a battery holder and to find some suitable material to make new bumpers from. It’s an UK made car but parts have been sourced from as far as Oz which is quite fun plu...

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - January 2022 ** - Winner - LTO_Dave

Retro rc wrote: Wed Jan 12, 2022 2:32 am Had to go for lavigna this month- that composite craft buggy is a thing of pure beauty. Must have sacrificed a few animals and an arm and a leg (or 2) for some of those parts
The thing about paying an arm and a leg for something is to make sure its somebody else's arm and leg

Gisom Alloys

I have posted up a fair few cars with the more typical 6 hole Gisom alloys, and also my Coyote build has the lovely gold set of tri-holes pictured here, but I have never started a specific thread for them I don't think. Gisom are Italian-made, and were the rims of choice for the Italian TAG racing t...

Re: LosiXX #2

Frankentruck Body off shot... No electrics yet, can't decide. Losi motors are pretty spendy so probably Trinity. Looks to me as though most if not all hardware is OEM, right down to the washers. On the front chassis brace I did replace the two rear screws with lower profile round head screws. The or...

Schumacher Cat SX3 - Shiny version again

Good evening everyone, Here is the topic dedicated to the restoration of my Cat SX3. This one was acquired during an exchange with a member of another forum about 1 year ago. For lack of time and especially lack of desire, I had not looked into it. It will therefore be subject to a reshaping in my o...

Re: My First Affair

Looking really good and an inspiration as I'm getting started on mine, I mean, my own from bitd! Has this reached completion in the end? All the best, Paul Hey Paul, Thanks for the kind words. I haven’t done much since my last post. This started off as a quick pocket change build but nearing the en...
