I put her Sunday Shoes on , changed the motor from the old silver can and the sun's out so i grabbed some more photo's , I got a good one of the road that is hard to see in photo's , I gave the road a dusting of Gun Metal then backed it with black to give it a metaled road look . https://i.imgur.com...

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - October 2020 ** - Winner - Asso_man!

Re: Advice on CAT XLS assembly tips and brushed motor question

A 16t brushed will be fine , the upgrade transmition removes the integrator to just leave a standard front/rear diff arrangement , so you lose one of the most interesting features of the stock transmission , in my mind that's a downgrade not an upgrade .

Re: Advice on CAT XLS assembly tips and brushed motor question

I guess if you have the car already you could build it and run it and make your own mind up if you want to buy the upgrade transmission , the down side being that its a lot of work to retrofit .

Re: Dadio's 3D Printing Stuff

Found time for a little more detail , rear seating and some wood surround for the top edge on the rear , I also assembled the bits for the picture .

Re: Grasshopper 2 or Hornet

It doesn't appear to have the rubber O ring friction dampers on top of the front springs so that says Grasshopper to me .

Re: TAG Coyote resurrection

Its the volt drop under load with NiCad that makes the big performance difference , with Lipo there is very little volt drop under load , a 6 cell NiCad may drop over a volt under load but the Lipo wont drop a volt until the end of its charge .

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - November 2020 ** - Winner - GoMachV

The Yoke is very special but so is the Alpine , Traxxas and the JRX2 , I also love the Hirobo as I've Ben keenly following the build , everyone has a vote already so there's no clear underdog either !
