Once i got the idea for the paint job in my head i just could not fight it , hope you like it

A 16t brushed will be fine , the upgrade transmition removes the integrator to just leave a standard front/rear diff arrangement , so you lose one of the most interesting features of the stock transmission , in my mind that's a downgrade not an upgrade .

I guess if you have the car already you could build it and run it and make your own mind up if you want to buy the upgrade transmission , the down side being that its a lot of work to retrofit .

That's got a very nice crisp look ,can't go wrong with yellow and black ! The wheels really bring out the shine !

Found time for a little more detail , rear seating and some wood surround for the top edge on the rear , I also assembled the bits for the picture .

It doesn't appear to have the rubber O ring friction dampers on top of the front springs so that says Grasshopper to me .

That's a really nice touch , might have to borrow the idea

Its the volt drop under load with NiCad that makes the big performance difference , with Lipo there is very little volt drop under load , a 6 cell NiCad may drop over a volt under load but the Lipo wont drop a volt until the end of its charge .

Sorry I'm a blithering idiot (is it still PC to call yourself an idiot ?) and forgot i can't enter again this year , plenty of cracking cars to choose from this month so we'll still be spoiled for choice !

The Yoke is very special but so is the Alpine , Traxxas and the JRX2 , I also love the Hirobo as I've Ben keenly following the build , everyone has a vote already so there's no clear underdog either !

My votes in , I just could not ignore how pretty the Alpine is , good luck everybody !
