Re: 'Rusty' the Pro Radiant
I think it is part rusty and part the fact that it has been raced on an orange clay/dust track. The dust on the rear wishbones for example is more like a fine orange clay. Same goes for on the rear tyres. I will keep adding piccies as I go with it.

Re: Pb Maxima score
Super rare score today! This is the elusive Pb Maxima front bumper and mount set. I have been looking for the piece top left for over 12months and they are generally considered impossible to find. Amazingly this auction was for 2 sets!!  50116063_796957317335051_9164116928577404928_n.jpg

Re: My original and sad looking 870c
Hello old girl... my much lightened 870c steadily returning to life, together with her (unlightened) sister car. I am building it back to my 1991 Radio Race Car Series format. As you can see from this quick mock-up the chassis and bulkheads are strict swiss cheese spec, Option House shocks all round...

Re: TAG/SG Coyote
Well I am very happy to report that 'aircooled' very kindly agreed to let his set of three-hole alloys go, and they are now in the post on the way to me as I type. To say I am chuffed about finding these is a bit of an understatement. 61554493_334933590523607_1203992148974764032_n - Copy.jpg 6143772...

Re: RC10 Graphite project
Really cool build!!! I also still have a set of chrome HPI Super Stars left. Those are my all time favorite wheels Yeah, they always did look great, and nice to be able to use some of my original parts from back then on this build. Otherwise they would just be sat in my spares box forever more, whi...

Igarashi MG modified motor
OK, I confess I know nothing about these. Last night somebody contacted me and said they had an unusual MG motor they had never seen before. As some of you are aware I am a bit of an MG fan and have amassed quite the collection, having been sponsored by them bitd. Mick Goddard (MG) was famous in UK ...

MG 10 Single
I picked this motor up in a set of MG motors supplied to me by a successfull team Schumacher driver. He was allowed to select his own electrics and was sponsored by MG motors for '93 and '94. He used these MG's for the Florida Winternationals at that time. This is a 10 Single Exterminator, and the p...

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - August 2019 **
I keep on posting up as and when my vintage stuff keeps on popping out of the loft. Not seeing many replies though. I was just presuming my posts were getting boring - HA! I have seen this very same thing happen on a vintage BMX forum which I was heavily into before switching over to my RC hobby. Th...

Re: My Optima Mid(s) ID issue
How did they mount on the inside? Were they machined to fit tapered axles and the weird hexes with tapered holes, or did they use straight axles with crosspins? Now that I can answer. I am very VERY chuffed to have also found the original drawings my father made before starting these very wheels. W...
